Monthly Rentals in Lake Matheson

We loved staying here! It was clean, warm and comfortable. It’s a very close drive to the Fox glacier viewpoint and lake matheson from here. The breakfast provisions was also great to have. Thank you!

What a perfect place to stay. The place exceeded expectations and is even better than the photos and descriptions suggests. The fireplace worked flawlessly and was stocked with plenty of firewood and kindling to use. The beds had nice pillows and sheets that were warm and enveloping - and one bed had an electric blanket which was useful on a cold night. The outdoor bathtub was the highlight of the trip - the view of the Milky Way from a hot bath in a secluded area was something special - even saw a couple of shooting stars. The home is a quick 4 minute drive to Franz Josef town if you’re looking for restaurants or the grocery store. Can’t recommend this place more. What a special two nights we had there. I had a wonderful stay! The space was spotless and full of thoughtful details that made it feel extra welcoming. The design is unique and adds a lot of charm. I especially loved the outdoor bath—it was such a relaxing and luxurious touch. Richard and Edwina were warm and generous hosts. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

A wonderful place to stay. Would have loved to stay longer and will definitely recommend to many Friends coming to New Zealand.
