My experience at LaPaix Stays was truly wonderful. The check-in process was flexible, clear, and easy, making me feel at home from the start. The space was spotless — furniture, linens, kitchen, and bathrooms were spotless and well-equipped with everything I needed. The photos and description were completely accurate, matching exactly what I found upon arriving. Jonathan was a thoughtful and responsive host, always available to help and make my stay comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful, with nearby parks, restaurants, a grocery store, and a gas station. It’s also a short drive away from Kildonan Mall, Costco, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Superstore, Home Depot, cinema, and more — adding even greater convenience. I want to say a big “Thank you” to Jonathan for making my stay so restful and enjoyable. I wish I could give LaPaix Stays more than 5 stars, and I’m looking forward to staying here again in the future!

The whole experience from beginning to end was a breeze. There were some outside issues beyond either parties management that created a minor inconvenience, but that was out of the hosts control. Beyond that, it was a very easy going, peaceful and welcoming stay with quick and attentive interaction. Would recommend and stay again.

Cherie’s place is located in a good area, the house is tidy and the kitchen has everything needed. The living room and outdoor seating was cozy and the fire pit was welcoming with plenty of firewood to burn. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay. The cottage was just what I needed for a winter meditation retreat. Will definitely consider Darci's place next time I need a quiet getaway. Building exactly as advertised. being a rural cottage the accommodations are rustic, but this might be exactly what you are looking for. The building has definitely had some recent upgrades to the bathroom and main living area. No TV or WIFI - I view this as a positive! Host was very helpful and responsive. only negative is that a strongly perfumed detergent was used to wash the bedsheets. I am sensitive to perfume smells. wasn't a problem for me because I brought my own sheets.

This is the perfect place to stay in Portage. It's comfortable, safe and has everything you need for a great stay. Tyne and Nathan were really kind and helpful!

Darcy and Michelle’s Cottage has the cutest vintage charm. Felt right at home. So very clean, smelled delish, and had the most comfortable bed. Had great little comforts like extra blankets, all I needed to cook great meals, and thoughtful “forgot it” bins. Personally spent most of my time in the little sunroom in the front, made the stay that much more amazing. They were incredibly communicative and proactive in their messages. we had a wonderful time in Winnipeg. this place was what we needed. to be close to things downtown, within walking distance. secure place to park the car. two bedrooms, two bathrooms, capacity to make meals if we wanted. it was perfect for our needs.

Was nice to stay here again. Thank you for adding the rail at the bottom step that I mentioned was needed after our last visit. It was simple but effective. Appreciate you following up on that. Coffee maker was not working properly the last morning. Other than that everything was great. Thank you.

I booked this home for my family from northern MB as they were being evacuated and couldn’t get good reception to do themselves. From the beginning of my booking to the end of the stay, the hosts were so kind and helpful. They even provided a significant discount for the weekend extension we made. These are rhetorical kinds of people whose business we want to make sure to support because they use their business to help support others in times of crisis. The home was as beautiful as it looks in the photos and my family said their stay was a quiet and relaxing reprieve from the evacuation stress they were under.

I am a regular user of this house, and each year Rebecca manages to present the accommodation in a very fresh light. The welcome feel is reflected by Rebecca's genuine interest in the welfare and comfort of her guests , and her friendly personality shines through I will be back.

Quite possibly one of the most well-equipped rental units we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot!). Marco, our host, is an excellent communicator. Readily available and he responded to any questions with little delay. Great location, clear concise instructions, and super easy access provided you don’t need an elevator. Very comfy bed! Intimidating looking shower but after about 90 seconds, we figured it out. Now we want one! Just a lovely unit. Will definitely stay again.

It was such a great experience to spend two nights in this beautiful condo as it was in the down town . The condo was well cleaned, secured and well organized even there was no worry about car parking. Highly recommend to everyone.Thank you

Stayed here 4 nights while attending a conference at the Fort Garry Hotel. Easy to get to the market and the human rights museum from here. Really comfortable stay and great value.

I stayed here for 3 weeks while working on a research project at the University of Manitoba. The location was perfect. It was right next to the Fort Rouge transit station, which will get you to U of M or downtown in 20 minutes or so. The apartment was really cosy and has everything you need for a longer stay (fridge, cooker, etc.). Really loved it here.

I had a wonderful stay and certainly would be back! Many GREAT restaurants close by (walking distance) including Yujiro (Japanese) and Stella’s (brunch). Also close enough to a superstore and easy delivery of anything you need.
