Three generations and our dog had a great stay at Portman’s Paradise. It was perfect for our group size. The accommodations were exactly as shown in the photos and the home was clean and spacious. The loft room was a great additional space to relax. The view was beautiful. When the power went out in the neighborhood, the host was quick to reach out and let us know, keep us updated and was responsive to answer our questions.

The home and setting is absolutely perfect. We came from KY, NY, SC and Spain to celebrate Christmas in a rare opportunity with family. We were fortunate to bring our two fur babies (don’t leave home without them) and enjoy the short stay for this occasion. Anytime here is a good time to unwind and relax.

What a serene and peaceful way to bring in the new year and celebrate my partner's birthday all coupled with unbeatable lakes views. We had an amazing time, went on several hikes, had great coffee, and just relaxed. The host was responsive and accommodating as we requested a later check out for a slower morning and it was immediately granted. If you want to get away for some peace and quite or sprinkle your stay with activity, your choice but this place is where you should stay.

Home was better than expected, absolutely beautiful. Great location, steep walk to the dock but typical for this area. Home had all the extras. Lori was helpful and provided an air pump for our tube.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Robert’s place in Sunset SC. It suited our 3 generations of family that we had there. The kitchen table was great with room for all 8 of us plus more! The bedroom situation was wonderful with I/2 baths stuck strategically around the house. Lots of games and puzzles for the kids. Here were a few items to mention for future visitors: there are 3 stories in this house so be prepared to hike, and discuss the heating/cooling situation with other guests before going to bed as the middle floor thermostat is in one of the bedrooms.

My girlfriends and I celebrated my birthday weekend in this amazing house. Such a beautiful location. We only left the house once as we loved the sounds of the waterfall so much. Very spacious, clean and full of the necessities we needed for a weekend away!

The condo was beautifully decorated and well equipped. We loved the peaceful location. Craig checked in to see how things were going. We loved this listing so much we reserved it for our next visit to SC

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Such a beautiful home and place. We enjoyed the stay! The pool was by far our favorite just wish we had better weather to enjoy it further. Great customer service. We accidentally set the fire alarm off one night and she didn’t hesitate to message to make sure everything was okay.

We had a wonderful stay at "Golden Tee". The kids loved the loft, and the lake was so convenient. A little slice of heaven! Thanks!

This place was perfect for our family and as described. Everyone had a place to sleep comfortably, decorated so nicely, lower level was so nice, kitchen fully stocked with utensils and cookware, but only room for one cook in the kitchen 😊 Tarah was very responsive and friendly from start to finish! This farmhouse vacation was the best our family has experienced so far. We have stayed at over 15 rentals via this platform and others but by far this was the best. If Amy could have controlled the weather, then the trip would have been unbelievable. The house has everything a person needs to stay comfortably. The location is peaceful. The animals come up to the fence each morning and night and allow you to pet them. One horse wants all the attention....lol. The donkeys allow you to give them love too. The house had a full kitchen, a bar area, large living room and 4 beautiful and well-furnished bedrooms. The pool was nice but only used 3 days since we had rain most days. If a person has a small group of 10ish people, this is the perfect house for you. The small neighboring towns have things to see and do. So many waterfalls in the area. You definitely won't be disappointed if you choose to go to Seneca and stay at this house. Amy, thank you for sharing your home!

Great place to stay especially with having dogs. Love the convenience and experience of it all.

We had a great weekend staying at Jeff's house. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of supplies on hand. The pond has frogs, geese, and plenty of fish. We love the afternoon sounds of the bullfrogs. A very peaceful place to be. We will definitely return in the near future!

The stay at Beth’s place was amazing! They had anything you could need already there. We enjoyed the dock, floating raft and tubes that they put in the lake for us were a great touch. Our kids swam despite the cold temperatures. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our time here. The host Kim was very responsive and proactive. The place is stunning and come with lots of activities and amenities. Highly recommend anyone to stay here who’s looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax and connect with nature.

Enjoyed our stay! House had everything you needed to be comfortable. Lots of linens and kitchen items available to use. Huge property filled with trees, many places to sit outside and listen to the birds. The house is very big and had plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 kids. Will definitely stay here again, as we visit SC every year. Thank you for having us!

This was the ULTIMATE water sport place to be. I have 3 boys that tore it up like crazy. It felt like every water sport thing you could ever want was there. And the location was phenomenal. My only slight critique is clutter, but I am a minimalist. Highly recommend.

A lovely spot on Hartwell. We really enjoyed our time at this lakeside cottage and loved the views of the lake from the screened-in porch. It's perfect for a couples getaway or even a small family. We had everything we needed throughout our stay :) – beds were comfortable, plenty of bath towels were provided, and our hosts really thought of everything. Would absolutely stay at Bryan and Gina's lake home again!
