We had an amazing experience! Spectacular picturesque views of Lake James with mountain backdrops. The host was also very quick to respond with any questions. I would highly recommend this lakehouse paradise. :)

The location was extremely clean, scenic, and peaceful. Its location at Lake James was very calming and relaxing. It is also very central and accessible. It is approximately an hour from Charlotte, Asheville, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Very comfortable and entertaining for a large family like mine. Our host Kristen was also very quick and attentive. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants peace and tranquility, while ready access to big city amenities.

This was our first visit to Lake James and as we are used to renting nice houses in the mountains this place was no exception! The house and the setting were absolutley amazing and we had a great weekend at the lake. The house is located in a beautiful wooded area with the lake within a very close walking distance. There is a trail behind the house that leads to miles of trails to hike or jog. You can even walk to a nearby brewery called Fonta Flora as it takes about 35 minutes on the trail. The beds and linens in the house are exceptional quality for getting a much needed rest after a busy day. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals and the backyard was a great place to hang out and relax as it is very private. I also wish to thank Lisa as she was the perfect host. I had a few questions and she was very friendly and fast to respond to me.
