Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake İznik

The house had a beautiful view, just like in the photos. For those who don't live in Istanbul and are planning to rent a house, I highly recommend seeing this view at least once. Adem was a very helpful host and tried to assist with everything. Thank you again.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

We had such a great time staying at this villa! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The view was incredible. But honestly, what made the experience even better was our host, Fatih. He was so friendly and welcoming from the start, and always made sure we were comfortable. Anytime we had a question or needed help, he was just a message away and happy to assist. You can really tell he cares about his guests. Would absolutely recommend staying here—huge thanks to Fatih for being such a great host!

My stay at this apartment in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful in every way! The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished with modern, stylish decor. Its location is excellent — very close to Taksim Square and right in the heart of the city. The street is mostly flat with a slight uphill walk, but it was easy and not a problem at all. I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Nihal and her family, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her communication felt more like family than just a host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, if I return to Turkey, I will definitely book with her again. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and a warm, friendly host.

Berek is a wonderful person but the property is not fit for elderly people you will have to climb stairs to get to the barrooms

We loved our stay here. It was clean, private, quiet, and most importantly: the beautiful green scenery. The host was responsive and friendly. Getting to the house wasn’t as difficult as some other comments suggested. Our only regret was that we didn’t book more than one night :)

The owner is so respectful and friendly. The unit is amazing. New and comfortable. The most special thing was that all bedrooms in one floor which make it more comfortable

The accommodation is as in the photos, even better in real life :) a magnificent view of the quiet lake. We only stayed one night but we will definitely come back. A big thank you to Fatih's parents who welcomed us very well.

We had a wonderful accommodation experience for 5 days. Everything was thought of. The host Mr. Ensar and the ladies working in the house were incredibly helpful and sincere people. An absolutely amazing place to stay! Living room overlooks Galataport and we got to see quite a few large cruise ships. Loved all the resident kitties, one even had three kittens in the courtyard. Air conditioning is a godsend and the fan in the bedroom was perfect. Fair warning, it’s either up or down quite some stairs or a steep hill to get everywhere, but honestly we loved that. A great workout!

Had a fantastic stay! The flat was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was responsive and helpful. Great location too - T1 tram station, 5 minutes on funicular to Taksim square. Highly recommend!

Everything about Efkan’s place was perfect. It was a beautiful flat in a wonderful location; the views from the rooftop terraces were spectacular. Efkan could not have been more helpful in welcoming us upon arrival and assisting us throughout our stay - he regularly contacted us to check that everything was okay and gave us some excellent restaurant and cafe recommendations. On one occasion we requested an additional tea towel - a brand new tea towel was delivered to the door within ten minutes! Check in and check out were amazingly smooth. All in all, Efkan’s place is a terrific home in which to relax and from which to explore the magic of Istanbul.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—exactly like the photos, if not better. The location is unbeatable - just a few minutes’ walk from Istiklal Street, Galata Tower, and Taksim Square, yet tucked away on a quiet street that made it feel peaceful and safe. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay - quick to respond, full of local tips, and even left thoughtful touches like bottled water,. The Wi-Fi was fast, the bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great (which was a lifesaver in the summer heat).

It was EXTRAORDINARY. I think one of the best apartments I've rented in Istanbul. The breathtaking view of the islands. The cleanliness of the place, the access to the metro and the shopping centres very fast. I highly recommend this apartment, Mehmet was very responsive, very professional and really very kind. If you’re looking for the perfect Istanbul experience, this apartment is it. Just a 2-minute walk from Galata Tower, the location couldn’t be better. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had that authentic Istanbul charm. What made our stay even better were the cute little coffee shops nearby . Don’t miss the hidden antique bookstore tucked into a side street nearby—it’s magical. And if you follow the alley behind the tower, you’ll find a tiny rooftop terrace bar with stunning views of the Bosphorus. Not many tourists know about it. We’ll definitely be back!
