Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Huron

Jesse was a very helpful, responsive host. This house was perfect for our family with all the amenities as described in the listing. It is next door to a community centre which had a dance on the Saturday night, but the music was not that loud and it was over at midnight. Each bedroom had a sound machine you could use to fall asleep to waves or birds or other soothing sounds. The whole house was very clean and the pantry was well stocked and every kind of utensil and dish and glass and cup you could need was provided. The narrow fairly steep stairs to bedrooms on the second floor might be a challenge for some if you have knee issues. For us it was really a great place to stay and exactly as pictured and described.

We had a lovely time! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Katherine had put a lot of thought and care into every detail. The little extras made all the difference. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

Our stay was perfect! We are so glad we found Matthew's place. He welcomed our furry friends giving us a safe place for them to stay and play. A fenced grassy yard, puppy blankets, and toys. I texted Matthew with a question and he called me within minutes. We will be staying here again and again!

100/10 stars. Dog friendly is a huge plus, Denise responds extremely fast and is always kind, she was very flexible with us due to after wedding/honeymoon timing. The home was immaculate, perfectly decorated, right on the water, kind neighbors, we loved the extra coffees/hot cocoa/snack items and toiletries she has set up. Better than any hotel 100% I cannot possibly recommend this place or any hosted by Denise enough. If you’re considering this listing I say take it, you will not be disappointed.

We had a great stay at Tracy's cottage. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus for us. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of spices and condiments. The beach is lovely and peaceful. . Tracy gave us some great recommendations of places to visit nearby which we enjoyed. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

The Airbnb pictures matched the actual house. I loved that we could walk to restaurants. Frankenmuth was beautiful and I highly recommend Kaeley house.

This beautiful Place is the best so far that I've ever stayed at. Melissa was very responsive easy anytime we had to contact her. This place is the truly the most comfortable and serene. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is exactly what we are looking for. Very cozy and quiet, nice hikes and most of all, the amazing animals. The girls spent hours hanging out with the horses and the pigs. Our time here was very memorable. There are amazing hikes nearby, small towns like Markdale and Flasherton and both have small restaurants, shops and cafes. John and Andrea are simply great! They are extremely kind and generous with their time. Excellent advice all the time, great conversations and will offer anything to make our stay more enjoyable. John let us help with the daily shores and feeding the animals. He also gave us excellent ideas for hikes, local attractions, etc. We are really looking forward to going there again next spring or summer.

We really love this property! This was our second time staying here, and we enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending our visit by a couple of nights. The space is large and offers plenty of cozy spots to relax in different areas of the home. The kids had an amazing time playing in the pool and hanging out in the spacious living room. We’re already looking forward to coming back again. It’s the perfect private and local getaway for our large family!

We had a wonderful stay with a family of four including 18 year old teen boys and two dogs. The boys enjoyed the pool table and great tv's while my wife and I enjoyed the great walking and quiet surroundings. It was also easy to have our well trained dogs with us in this location which was wonderful. Thank you Brendan for the terrific stay and allowing us to change our reservation when our plans changed with ease.

We stay for 2 nights it was a perfect getaway for us. Lots to do inside and outside our little ones really enjoyed. The host was super nice and responsive. The house was very clean and the detail of the house was very homey. We really enjoyed our stay. Most recommended to book this it was very worth it.

We had a fantastic little getaway. Very quiet, beautiful neighborhood and the property is fantastic. The pool and hot tub really made our stay over the top. Joshua is a fantastic host and we had a wonderful time!

Our family absolutely loved staying at Clint's! The view was amazing! Everything was just perfect! Waking up to that view from the loft every morning was my favorite! 😍 There was plenty of room for 2 families to stay comfortably. Would love to stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 children. It was a beautiful location and the cottage was exactly as we expected from the photos. There was a park right behind the cottage which was very convenient for the kids and They enjoyed the games and toys throughout the cottage. It was a beautiful location and we walked down to the water to explore the rocky coastline and also spent a day at Christopher beach nearby. We had a very relaxing and peaceful holiday and we would recommend Shelly's place.

Millie's place was a perfect getaway for my husband and I before the arrival of our baby in August. (Very pregnant friendly!) The cottage was incredibly clean, organized, and cute!! The patio was comfortable for lounging and reading. The yard was the perfect size for our pups to run around and enjoy themselves. The view of the lake was breathtaking! Doreen was very accommodating and quick to respond to any messages. I would definitely recommend Millie's Place to anyone wanting to enjoy fresh air, relaxation, and beautiful scenery!

My family and I had a great time at Adam’s cottage! Incredible view of the lake, the lake water was crystal-clear. Beach house was well maintained and very clean, the interior decor was stunning! Beach house/garage had all the amenities you will need! The 2 paddle boards and 2 bikes were a great edition! we enjoyed walks/bike rides through the trails in the neighbourhood. We will definitely come back, HIGHLY recommend! Adam was very helpful, insightful, and gave fast replies! Great host!

I’ve stayed at Avalon Eco Resort twice and both visits were fantastic! The resort is beautiful, great location, laid out nicely, fully stocked and equipped and very clean and well-kept. Cabins are really nice and stocked with all the kitchen gear you may need including plates, bowls, kettle, S&P, oil, soap, pots and pans, spatulas, dish towel, cheese grater and pam. There’s a dock you can paddle or swim off of and kayaks and canoes onsite if you don’t have your own. The paddling is nice off the dock. Definitely very highly recommended! They keep the resort including shared washrooms very nice and clean and they are there to help with anything you might need.

Leah was an excellent host! The A-frame cabin was exactly as described and pictured. When we encountered an unexpected cold snap during our stay with our cats, Leah was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to help us out. Her quick communication and willingness to accommodate made all the difference. The cabin itself is charming and we'd definitely consider staying again. Highly recommend Leah as a host - she truly cares about her guests' comfort and experience.

If you are looking for a place to unwind and truly enjoy all that nature has to offer, this is the place for you. Kimberly was an amazing host. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved seeing the farm animals. We saw so many different birds and tons of hummingbirds while sitting on the back porch. I needed a mental recharge and this trip was exactly what I needed! We will definitely be back!

Spent three nights here with a friend. We were very impressed with the level of cleanliness and order. Don't think you'll find an airbnb any cleaner than this! Also, what you see is what you get. Very nicely finished and appointed! Both beds were very comfortable. Rose is very organized and clear in her communication. She was always one step a head of my questions. So professional and friendly. Very short walk to the beach (under 5 minutes). Well equipped kitchen. Quiet neighbourhood. Would not hesitate to book again!

Me and my husband book this beautiful place to.unvind from the city. The place did full justice. Elizabeth communicated with us really well and was flexible with the check in time. She left the place spot on for us. Really was able to connect to the nature. Would definitely come back.
