Clean, comfortable and inviting place to stay in an superb location in the Catskills -- short drive to Woodstock and Phoenicia, for shops and restaurants, and short drive to trailheads for hiking. Everything from linens to cups and glasses to the complimentary coffee was top notch. Friendly hosts! Seamless stay. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the Guardian. It was clean, peaceful and had a great view. The custom decor optimized the small space without sacrificing comfort or design. The wood stove kept the space super warm. Harvey stopped by to say hello and treated us to his delicious fresh roasted coffee. We will definitely be back!

As an experienced Airbnb guest, Janine’s place stands out for the special touches that make a place a home from home. Having great WiFi, tasteful furnishings and comfy beds are all wonderful, but going the extra yard to provide oil and vinegar, spices, storage containers, a water filter jug, ice trays, a moka express, cafetière and drip coffee maker (instead of environmentally horrific Keurig disposables) make a GREAT airbnb! All items that one would not travel with and are annoying to have to buy/bring yourself. One note for music lovers, bring a decent compact Bluetooth speaker and it will cover all the rooms easily. I enjoyed a 30-day July stay and marveled at the quiet and the light-filled space. Surrounded by trees but a 5 minute drive to Woodstock, it was as close to activity or as solitary as you choose. You get a cozy cottage that is the epitome of Catskills chic, and on some days you can see the colors of sunset through the trees. I cannot wait to return!

We loved staying at 10 Cricket Ridge. It is a lovely converted barn near the main house, but you feel you have privacy. The hosts sent very precise information on how to get to the property and other details, including WIFI and access. They noted (as it was February) that the road could be icy and recommended all wheel drive vehicle. Hosts communicated with us promptly when we had questions. The space is comfortable, but also cozy with a wood burning fireplace, which we definitely used. Bonus: you are on the top of the hill with really gorgeous views and a lovely sunrise. Great location for winter hiking. Bring your spikes :)
