Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Hāwea

We loved our stay in Hāwea, especially with the secret sauna nearby. The house was spotless, easy and had all the facilities. Thank you for having us!

Fabulous place. If you stay there be a courteous guest, because I’m going back and I don’t want to see any messes you make. 🤗 This place is perfectly situated near everything but out of the tourist traffic. A 10 minute walk to town, the lake. You can walk along the lake for many Km. I walked to Glendhu Bay from the stay. Master has a wrap around balcony with excellent Mountain View’s. Two walls of windows so you can open up and sit in bed with mountains surrounding you. The kitchen deserves better cooks than we are. Two refrigerators, two drawer dishwashers. Spacious garage and laundry machines. The best part is the well stocked media room. Movie night anyone?

Just wow! Lisa’s place is simply amazing. The house is absolutely stunning and very close to the lake. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Storehouse is a beautiful home and lovely place to stay for any trip in the Hawea area. The wood fired spa pool was a real nice experience and wasn’t hard to understand the instructions for lighting etc. lovely open plan living area and very comfy bed. Thanks for having us at your home. We had an incredible stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Wānaka. The home was warm, comfortable, and perfectly presented, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel so inviting. The outlook was absolutely stunning — peaceful, private, and a true reflection of the natural beauty of the region. The spa was a standout feature — soaking under the stars in the crisp mountain air was something we won’t forget. Check-in was seamless, everything was clearly laid out, and we felt at ease from the moment we arrived. This place truly felt like a retreat, and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and memorable stay in Wānaka.

Great house to host my family and I for a week. All bedrooms were a great size and the living areas spacious. Comfortably accommodates 8 people. The house was in a great location, within walking distance to the town centre and a great base to many attractions in the area.

Really beautiful spot just a few steps away from the main center of restaurants and shops. Great angle to view the lake and mountains — the owners suite on the second floor had a nice view, and then the third floor had a stunning view (which was nice with the open concept between living/dining room). The sauna was a fun touch too! We juuust barely managed to fit our 2 cars into the garage, but might not be doable if your cars are on the larger side.

Beautiful immaculate Loft barn apartment with views of the countryside out to the lake. Loved staying here as peaceful and so relaxing sitting with wood fireplace each evening. Lovely well appointed kitchen too. Favourite accommodation thus far in all NZ travels and wished it was a longer stay. Will definitely try to return and stay again. Highly recommend. Lucie is a great host who was friendly and responsive.

Love the ambience, incredible and convenient location with stunning views. The place was super cozy and had a very homey vibe. Toilet floors are heated which is something that we did not know we needed haha - mind blowing. This airbnb blew our expectations out of the water.

We had a great stay at the perch! Gabrielle was easy to communicate with and it’s the type of place you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into making the guest experience great. Highly recommend!

Love staying at these Apartments right on the beautiful Clutha River trails and right next door to our favourite cafe the Pembroke Patisserie, Albie Tavern & Takeaways right there, Four Square and laundry mat, so everything you need on your doorstep. Very close to Wanaka town and the beautiful Lake Hāwea.

Very clean house; looked just like the photos. Well stocked kitchen and super close market to walk to made cooking easy. Jill also included a notebook with clear instructions and stuff to do in the area.

Outstanding property not to mention the location. So much space and very luxurious. We had a wonderful time and used it as our “bridal suite” for the girls to get ready before the wedding. Even had our first look here in the garden and it was sensational. Couldn’t recommend this spot more.

This beautiful home was perfect for our extended family staying for our daughter’s wedding. The home has a very homely feel with everything you need at your fingertips…well stocked pantry, pool table, tennis court, pool, telescope, bbq and great outdoor entertaining area. Trudie the host was super friendly and helpful, as was the owner. We will be back!

The villa was beautiful and close to hotel and restaurant. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the food in the restaurant was amazing! This is a real treasure with all this history. Beautiful set up garden too!
