Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lake Eildon

If I had to use one word to describe our stay it would be generous: Thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house as our base: It's gorgeous, roomy and homely. It's also well placed for getting around Melbourne. Griselda is also the most generous and responsive of hosts with lots of supplies for us when we arrived that were most were most welcome. The house is also very generous with all the space and things that make it feel like home. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has lots of different living areas internally and externally. We couldn't have been happier during our time here. It really was a home away from home for the weeks we have stayed. Thanks again and lovely to have visited:-))

We stay at a lit of Airbnbs and every now and then one will stand out due to the personal touches. We had fresh fruit, 6 large double yoked eggs, bread,milk, butter and the most beautiful fresh cut flowers. The house itself is like being at home. We called it the Tardis as it looked compact from the outside but was huge inside. James was very arrentative and obviously rightly proud of the house. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This was a fantastic place we stayed at which was nice and private and had an amazing view. Fiona was very pleasant to deal with and was very accommodating to our needs, everything about the place was awesome and we would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

We had a terrific weekend at Villa Costa Lotta. The wonderfully designed and thoughtfully appointed house sits on a large block with lots of spots to relax and unwind. Great communication, lots of thoughtful and useful touches. Couldn’t recommend more.

The setting is calm and the views are stunning. The property is surrounded by trees. Everything was right to go. Provisions for breakfast, fire stacked and spotless. Even a bottle of wine and chocolate.

Quite possibly our best air bnb stay ever. And we’ve stayed at a lot. It was my first time staying in a Melbourne terrace house. It was amazing!!!! Honestly never been to a place that matched the photos so perfectly. If not better. We stayed for 6 nights so we wanted more than just a hotel room. Would stay again tomorrow if we could. So close to south Melbourne markets which you can go to for breaky, lunch and get supplies for dinner if you want. Across from the tram stop too. Kara was an amazing host too. Went above and beyond for us. The shower pressure was so wonderful too! So good worthy of a comment haha. Highly recommend. Don’t second guess your decision to book this beautiful home. Fabulous place to get away and unwind. Very private. Everything as described by previous reviews was very accurate and the response from the hosts Jamie and Christine was superb. Always prompt, friendly and clear. Easy to find. Highly recommended on all fronts. Definitely worth going to. Secluded, lots of wild life and very comfortable.

Ahhh the serenity. The place was perfect for a long weekend, high on the hill overlooking Yea, but within walking and riding distance of the town below. It was presented perfectly and was one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at.

Close to the popular Lygon st. Louise was super helpful and allowed a later check out. Great unit.

Gorgeous old building with plenty of character in the perfect location for the international garden show! Karen’s studio has a great view of Carlton Gardens, is beautiful, restful with lovely breezes, and sooo many restaurants nearby (only a 5 minute stroll to Lygon street). A lovely cosy place to come home to. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

A fabulous stay in a great location. We loved the homely, clean well appointed accomodation. The little extra touches and attention to detail made for a 5 star stay.

This studio apartment helps you enjoy St Kilda as if you had your own beautiful studio. So quick to the tram line, lovely neighbourhood, being Melbourne - tons of restaurants, bars and little local nooks. Kristina was so helpful and considerate of the guests, being responsive and proactive in getting the studio ready. If you are in St Kilda to enjoy the nature; such a short walk to St Kilda Botanic Gardens, walks along the pier or to enjoy the architecture; able to explore some of the beautiful homes and old theatres/buildings etc in streets as you explore. The destination was lovely, the building is private as you escape the hustle and bustle of the CBD. Kristina had some great recommendations (both on the app and physically in person, helping figure out transport to main attractions e.g MCG). Cannot recommend this place enough, our short stay was not long enough but made it so much better.

The apartment was extremely comfortable - beautifully furnished and very warm with plenty of heating. It’s a great location in a heritage historical site, thanks so much for hosting us! My daughter says it’s the best airbnb she’s ever visited!

We arrived early in the day and where in contact with a lovely lady Jan who let us in and showed us everything. There were supplies milk etc already there for use which was great. Great location, just down the road from amenities, restaurants, supermarket, cafes etc. Tram right along the main street for easy transportation into the CBD. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Northcote!!!! Thanks Jessica, Christine & Jan

What a wonderful experience with a truly thoughtful host. Michelle has created a wonderful home away from home with all the right ‘feels’ and a touch of luxury, she made us feel like valued guests and we were extremely happy with the location and personality within the home .

Pam and John were amazing hosts, we had our 1 year old bernese mountain dog with us and we absolutely loved staying with them. Our room was great and we had plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Breakfast was brilliant and we enjoyed getting to know Pam and John! Our puppy had an amazing time with their 3 Bernese too which was awesome to see! Overall if you're passing through you won't regret staying with them!

Outstanding spot, felt welcomed from first contact, Gill has gone out of her way to make us feel comfortable for our wedding. Lovely, warm and clean, felt looked after. Thanks Gill we will be returning in due course Jonathan and Brianna

We booked the Aberfeldy Suite with the ensuite bathroom. Comfortable corner room with view of the beautiful garden in a stunning heritage listed building (1890) which is set about 100m off the main road along a side valley. Very friendly hosts and very helpful with tips on things to see and do. Walking distance to the underground mine tour, pub, cricket ground and tramway track. Very peaceful and completely quiet at night.

Had a fantastic stay here. Had the fire roaring on the cold night. It was a fantastic stay!

I had an incredible stay at Darren’s Airbnb, thanks to the amazing hospitality of Barry and Parinya. Darren ensured all my requirements were met in advance, making the booking process seamless. Barry and Parinya went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Barry took exceptional care in getting me accustomed to the house, explaining all details about the space and kitchen. He was always available to help and even drove me around the city, helping me set up essentials and explore. What truly stood out was Barry’s generosity—he even took me for house inspections to help me find a long-term stay. When my Airbnb stay ended, he accommodated me in his attic room until my apartment was ready, which was a huge help. Barry and Parinya’s kindness, hospitality, and warmth made my stay unforgettable. I’m grateful for the bond we built and look forward to staying in touch. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a welcoming and homely experience!

Had the most amazing stay at Jan’s airbnb. The photos of the place don’t do it justice! It was so spacious and beautiful.

We had a lovely stay with Bronnie , the house is very spacious great views, a lovely big bathroom and the pool and hot tub are an added attraction. The do it yourself breakfast works well plenty of choice and a chance to mingle with other guests although when we stayed not many others were staying. Bronnie was a great host offering plenty of advise about local attractions to see and do.
