Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Delton

Me and my friends enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and very scenic. Michelle was friendly and very responsive. The home was beautiful.

Beautiful spot to relax, close to great hiking trails. The home was comfy and had some thoughtful extras.

This was a beautiful, clean, cozy and modern place. We had everything we needed, from kitchen to bathroom, comfy bed, outdoor chairs and a fire ring. We were in town for a wedding in Hillsboro, which was under 10 min away. There was a Kwik Trip walking distance from home. We loved the area towns and lakes. Lots to do! Wish we could’ve stayed a few more days! Thank you Carol!

Beautiful place tucked in woods on water. Tons of amenities for outdoor activities. Basic kitchen amenities. Highly recommend!

The Crown Lodge is a wonderful place to stay! Danice's communication was great. Our family enjoyed all of the amenities, it made our vacation perfect. The hummingbirds off the back porch, we're amazing. The lodge offered us enough room for everyone to have their space and yet stay together as a family. I could not recommend it more!! it will be our go too every time the family returns to Baraboo.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I with our 2 goldens. Everything was exactly as pictured. Anna offered lots of suggestions for fishing, parks, things to do beforehand and quick communication. The back yard was so big and the fire pit was oerfect! There was plenty of firewood for us to have hours of bonfire each night! We spent the whole weekend relaxing both there and on the front porch playing games on the picnic table. It was secluded enough we didn’t have to worry about neighbors right next to us with our 2 dogs. They could run free off leash. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks so much!

Marek’s place was perfect for a family gathering with people of all ages and dogs … it was quiet and peaceful… a great place to spend some quality family time!

Our group of friends have stayed at this house twice now and it is perfect! There’s a lot of space, large bedrooms, pretty bathrooms, and a great backyard. It’s in a great location, close to food and stores but still feels like you’re in the country! Perfect place for memories!

A quaint little cabin just a 2 min walk to the lakefront and you can see the sunset over the lake from the front porch! Located inside a private campground and nestled all the way in the back so it’s wonderfully private, but also only a short drive to stores/restaurants/bars !

Charming and comfortable. Close and convenient to the downtown area of the Dells which made it very walkable. The wrap around porch was a relaxing experience when we were tired of walking around the Dells. We all agreed that we would stay there again if we traveled back that way again!

We loved our stay at Tricia’s whimsical, boho home. The artistic, multi-level layout was perfect for celebrating my daughter’s 5th birthday weekend. The space had plenty of room, creative decor, and nostalgic touches like the Wii, which my kids loved. My daughter was able to relax with Bluey upstairs while I prepped meals and unwound after our days exploring nearby Madison. We visited the Madison botanical gardens, children’s museum, and Capitol, and enjoyed two local diners with great food and reasonable prices. A couple of great surprises made the trip even more special: Fireman’s Park across the street had an outdoor movie night (Moana 2), food trucks, a splash pad, and an updated playground. Tricia also surprised my daughter with birthday cupcakes and a gift card to Woolly’s Snack Shop, where we got ice cream on our way home. Lots of sleeping options, games, and puzzles made the home even better. Tricia was super communicative and we’d definitely stay again.

The Chateau (Robin's place) was just perfect for the three of us. It's peaceful rural location was beautiful and especially accessible for our hiking segments and connecting routes of the Ice Age Trail. It's also close enough to Baraboo, Sauk City, Merrimack, Prairie du Sac and even Madison...so you can explore small towns, villages and city life if you want or just soak in the beauty of the rolling hills in the driftless region. Our accomodations were just what we needed. Kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms were spotless. We were able to communicate with Robin easily. We also had an extra vehicle that she allowed us to park. We stayed there 3 times! Highly recommend it!

I travel to the Madison area for work often and have stayed at Kathryn’s place a few times. The rental is the full second floor of a home in DeForest, a quiet little village not far outside Madison. It’s a clean, well-equipped, comfortable unit, with a private entrance, that makes a great base for exploring DeForest and the broader Madison area. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

There were four of us and we were all so happy with our stay! We never even turned on the TV (though it was nice size) …we spent evenings on the patio relishing the nature and all the birdsong... made lots of great memories talking about our days and resting our weary bones from all the walking! Super comfortable and welcoming … lots of personal touches and had everything we needed to cook and eat in comfortably. we had two folks in each unit, but could easily have had 4–5 in each. Place is close to Spring Green for attractions Taliesin and HOTR) and got to enjoy the scenic short ride there. we felt right at home..,great amenities, large bathroom, bed was amazingly comfortable. Everything was super clean and we can’t say enough about how kind and responsive the hosts are. Thank you, Bill and Darcy for letting us enjoy this slice of heaven! We will definitely be back!

Rose’s place was absolutely perfect! Very comfortable home with everything you could need for a wonderful stay at the lakes. The location is ideal for access to the Wheelhouse, ICC, the lake and all the joys of Waupaca! The views were beautiful and Rose was super helpful. We will definitely be back again!!!

Emily was an excellent host. She was extremely responsive and accommodating. There was a minor issue/mix-up when I first arrived; I reached out to her and she responded almost immediately and had things resolved within a matter of minutes. The cabin has the essentials that you need but it's the outdoor space that's the real gem here. There's so much room to explore and just wander about. You can really have an adventure without even leaving the property. The place was very quiet and peaceful; very rarely did I hear any cars drive by or hear any noise from neighboring cabins. I had my dog with me and she absolutely LOVED it here. We spent most of our time outside but in the evenings and when the weather wasn't as nice, the cabin offered a comfy and cozy space for us to relax. I would definitely visit again.

Unbelievable how quiet it was at this location! The road it is on might have 1 car drive by per hour during the day, with much less cars at night. Great location in the countryside with Amish bakeries and businesses nearby. It is stocked with just about all the kitchen utensils and things you need for normal cooking, including some spices and seasonings, and the bathroom is supplied with all the necessary things, with a little more. The swing on the covered porch is excellent for relaxing, and night time sleeping, as is the couch. The firewood is cut perfectly to fit in the wood stove that very adequately heats up the place. The spring water that supplies the cabin will make your skin feel great after a warm morning shower. I was not a fan of the thought of having to wake up in the middle of the night and have to take care of nighttime bathroom needs by going up and down the ladder, so I never went up to the loft. I look forward to staying there again, hopefully during a snowstorm.

This is an amazing place to stay! The peace and quiet of the location and to feel as though you were in the middle of the woods was a welcome surprise! We were lucky to have discovered this place! Thank you!

The cabin was beautiful and the location was amazing. It was really nice to see the bison walking around near the cabin and we were also able to have a really fun campfire outside in the fire pit. Also there was a gas grill where we could do barbecue. We had a really nice time and it was really clean and comfortable and cozy.

Our family of three plus two dogs had a great stay at Rebel's place! We loved that the cabin was set far back from the road, so our pups could safely explore the property. The setting is very serene and the only noises we heard were from the birds and frogs at the pond. The cabin itself was well stocked with everything we could need and the town of Hillsboro was just a short drive away. We would definitely return!

We planned a last minute getaway to Linda & Robert’s place and it was wonderful. My husband and I were looking for a simple, secluded place with space to explore and be immersed in nature with our dog. This “rustic retreat” was just what we had hoped for and more. It is exactly how it is described, no surprises. Before booking, we read the listing description that was provided, viewed all of the photos and loved reading all of the glowing reviews. We were sold! We loved the long drive into the property and the wildlife seen along the way. The trails on the property are such a treat and so much fun to explore. The windows in the cabin were just as described….AWESOME!Puzzles and campfires were our source of relaxation, after dark. Linda and Robert are great hosts and communication was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the rustic retreat and would highly recommend it to others. :)

There were only 4 of us. Loved the one level space for us. Would highly recommend for a larger group as well. The added ammenties (snacks and water etc) were appreciated. Very well equipped kitchen! Great communication from the host.

This was our second stay, and we enjoyed both immensely. The location is very relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the patio by the fire pit in the evenings soaking in the peace and quiet.
