Quiet little piece of heaven on earth. Enjoy the lake, sit by a fire, enjoy the nature God has provided in our sanctuary on Pickett Lake. Boat ramp is 100 yards down the road. 4 kayaks, canoe, and paddleboard are provided, all of which can be launched from the house. Fish from the dock or explore the lake. Use the grill or take a short drive to Branford or Mayo and enjoy some of the restaurants. Come boat, fish, or swim in the lake or just enjoy the lake view. Outdoor fire pit includes wood.

Awesome sunsets - Silver Sands is one of the few area lakes that is full and natural spring fed. Water is crystal clear and soft yes soft. 2 private decks, laundry room, and 2 carports. Two kayaks, Lake front swimming and fishing - come relax. 5 minute drive to groceries and gas. New fast WiFi , interior paint and metal roof. Pets are welcome but don’t we do charge a fee. We also charge a late checkout fee. Fireplace is not in service. RV pad with electric and water at 100 night option .

We are next door to Rum Island Park which is a swimming spring, kayak and canoe pick up/ drop off/boat ramp location. It is a private cottage. 1 bdr Sleeps 4. 1 Bedroom with a sleeper sofa. You’ll love my place because of the location. The river is in the backyard. You can launch your personal canoe or kayak. Sit by the fire pit or enjoy the deck and cook out with friends and family. This fully loaded A frame is stocked with a shed full of fishing gear. Mosey down to the boathouse and try your luck fishing right in the backyard at the canal.
