Hector is amazing. He is very responsive and great host. Great response rate and accurate information. Place was tidy and completely spotless. We enjoyed the time, and Hector made it everything easier. He provided great restaurant recommendations. If you plan to sleep until late in the morning, consider no A/C available. Sunlight hits department all morning, water fan does its job.

This is the most beautiful and relaxing place to stay. We arrived mid week and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. It is fully equipped for cooking your own meals, and using the pool. We felt at home and well taken care of by our host who helped us connect with taxi to take us to the next town for the wedding we attended. Front office crew were also very helpful and friendly. Town is very chill and has several small stores to get vegetables and meat and snacks/beer just a couple blocks from the suite. It is on top floor but we appreciated the exercise and the magnificent views from the patio which is situated just right that it is perfectly shaded all day. Thank you for a wonderful stay! The host is amazing. The apartment is located less than 3 blocks from the plaza. Which is the center of Chapala. Definitely recommend.

Norma was lovely, warm and very helpful. She arranged to be there when I arrived so she could give me the key and explain how things worked. She was very clear in describing the place in advance, making sure I knew it was basic, but it totally met what I was looking for as a place to crash.

If Susan’s Casita is available for your trip to Ajijic, book it! I stayed here for 3.5 weeks and felt like a “guest” at her home. She performed above and beyond any host I’ve known. I have previously stayed in the center of Ajijic, which was a lively experience. Susan’s place is much quieter. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the center of Ajijic and the Malecón. It’s only about 15 minutes to the San Antonio Malecón, which I loved because of the incredible bird life. Spending time on the rooftop (mirador), with the beautiful surroundings, was relaxing. You’ll also get a great front-row seat of the egrets coming in for the evening to nest in the trees over the casita. The neighborhood is safe. The locals are friendly. The AC worked very well. I’d stay here again, for sure! Thank you, Susan!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's casita. It is small, as we expected, but so well equipped and comfortable. Mary is the perfect host, anticipating every need her guests might have. As others pointed out, the location of the hacienda is excellent for exploring Ajijic. Before setting out each day, we enjoyed our morning coffee while overlooking the lush, well manicured courtyard. Just a great experience altogether!

The very nice place the stay in Sahuayo was very nice, the location, the friendliness was excellent! It's important to mention that they have private parking and everything is very good! Sure would gladly return

A very nice and peaceful place

If you are going to any events in Areval, it is an excellent option to stay. The apartment has a list overlooking the lake and feels safe.

The apartment had what it takes to have a good stay. I love the flexibility of both arrival and departure time. The pool is nice. I don't think I loved being given instructions to take out the trash and connect the appliances upon arrival and disconnect when leaving. The malecón is very close as to get to walk but I don't love the way, at least not at night, plus there was nothing just a bar that didn't beat me (eye, it's not the Jocotepec seawall). I think if I would go back to the place.

Nice and quiet place, the apartment is very spacious and all the amenities were fine, the neighborhood very quiet. Perfect for getting away from the stress of the city.

We loved the place, the house is very large and has a very nice terrace. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos and the water was hot even at night when the weather was cold. The rooms are very spacious and each has its own bathroom, excellent for large groups. The host makes you feel right at home. We'll definitely be back.
