Great value for money, in the heart of San Marcos. The apartment was very clean and well-proportioned, with all the amenities you’d need. The roof terrace was great, and we loved that the water in the apartment was filtered - a great touch! The local area is great and there’s plenty to do in San Marcos, or a quick boat taxi to the other parts of the lake. Be aware that it’s a very ‘hippy’ vibe, if that’s not your thing… To anyone staying here, please support the local restaurants in the area! It was a shame to see so many empty places nearby (presumably as lots of tourists stay in all-inclusive retreats)!

Ada's place is everything I wanted and more. I woke up to chirping birds and woodpeckers, a beautiful lake and mountains view, a gorgeous garden, caterpillars and butterflies, hummingbirds feeding on nectar throughout the day, lake waves on windy days and nights, and I could go on and on. I often got lost for hours in a day admiring the beauty of this place on the porch. All my needs were handled by Ada diligently and efficiently. On her porch, we often spent evenings enjoying a glass of wine, conversing and laughing. This is one of the best places I've ever been to. I highly recommend it.

This cabin is so stunning and peaceful! Antonia was very responsive and met me to help carry my suitcase. He even brought me potable water when I asked! This is the perfect stay for a solo traveler - there is one twin bed up in the loft - super comfy and cozy. I’ll be back!
