Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Anna

This house is a gem! It’s our second time staying here and my family loves it! We have two adult daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters, we love the pool, pool house with pool table and the screened in porch! All of us have our own levels of bedrooms and bathrooms. The place is clean, has the little touches of home and Lois is a dream to work with. It’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for! We hope to return next summer! I hate writing such a good review because it will only be harder to book in the future!

We stayed here with some friends and all our small kids. The place was really clean and had all we needed - the kitchen was stocked with all the tools and basics you need for cooking, the property had plenty of space for the kids to play, the downstairs kept the kids occupied in the mornings, and there is a really nice dock to fish. Perhaps the best part was the ability to rent a boat directly from the owners for the weekend - we had an absolute blast doing this. Overall, this place was a great find, and a rare occurrence where i'd like to stay there again instead of trying something new (I usually don't prefer repeat rentals). The checkout procedure included doing the dishes, but the place has a dishwasher so it was ok, and checkout was at 11AM which is optimal. The house is clearly getting intermittent updates and upgrades, and feels very well taken care of and updated. Our only issue was with the outdoor video cameras which were monitored as we were staying at the place.

We stayed here with our Grandson and met up with friends at Christopher Run. This house was the perfect location for us. The house was clean and was everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you would need. The AC worked great after spending our hot days on Lake Anna and it was especially nice to have a washer and dryer. Cathi was very pleasant and fast responding to any questions. We certainly made some core memories with our Grandson and look forward to visiting again. Becky

We had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect—right on the water with a fantastic private dock. The little "snack bar" on the dock was stocked with extra life vests and paddles. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. There was plenty of silverware and utensils for our whole group, which made cooking and dining together a breeze. A big bonus: the shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms—everyone in our group forgot theirs, so that was a total lifesaver. We also loved that the property overlooks the state park. It gave us beautiful, peaceful nature views and added a sense of privacy that made the whole trip feel like a true escape compared to other locations I've been to on this lake. My favorite part was taking the jet ski out every day. The nearby boat ramp is very private and super close, which made launching a breeze.

Oliver made it so easy to check in and out. The house was spotless and had everything we needed and more. We forgot a toothbrush and coffee pods and home had extra of both. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper and paper towels,etc. and the beds were so comfy. We put the two kayaks in the back of our CRV and just drove slowly the two blocks (at most) to the launch. Lovely area to kayak around. We went to King’s Dominion one day and then to Fredericksburg for a movie and pickleball (the Picklr was great) Otherwise stayed at the house and enjoyed the porch and basketball. The fire pit area was great but unfortunately we weren’t able to use it bc of evening showers. Although, those evening showers enabled us to hang out on the porch without bugs bothering us. Oliver was so receptive to any question we had and always responded quickly. It was the perfect place for 5 adults to come together for a mini family vacation and just relax.

This house is perfect for families with kids. They had so many books, toys and kid-friendly amenities at the house - our entire family had a blast!!! The screened-in porch was perfect - we had nearly all our meals there. The property is quite secluded in a very peaceful place. Cannot wait to go back!

We have stayed at a few places in Lake Anna and this one was perfect for our group of 8. The house is beautiful with a great set up for engaging family time and a well stocked kitchen. The backyard worked well with our Halo collar for our dog and the dog and boating options were perfect for our crew aged 8-68. The neighbors are friendly and there's plenty of shade and sun options to meet everyone's needs. We already booked our trip to come back next year!

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

This was the nicest Airbnb I've rented in YEARS. It is very well-appointed and maintained, with everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend. It is nestled away in the bottom floor of a beautiful house, but you very much feel like you're all on your own. Separate entrance, plenty of parking space. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and woodsy. The hosts were very responsive and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. It was a little over ten minutes to drive to the convention center, so very convenient! Just be aware that the room with one twin bed is inside of the master bedroom- a repurposed dressing room. So whoever stays in there will have to walk through another bedroom to get to their bed. It wasn't a problem for us, but I thought it would be helpful to mention it for those looking for fully private spaces for all guests. I would 100% stay again the next time I'm in Fredericksburg. Okay, here's that review: "Wow, what a place! We just got back from a weekend getaway in Culpeper, Virginia, and I have to say, the room was just outstanding. The terrace was amazing, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink. The room itself? Furnished to perfection! They really thought of everything, all the amenities you could ask for. And the towels? Plush, like you wouldn't believe. We will definitely be back. I also want to give a shout-out to our host, Joy. She was so responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Really went above and beyond. If you're looking for a place to stay in Culpeper, this is it!"
