Organic farm mason with good views

Our farm is located at 1175 m above sea level, a 15-minute walk above the South Tyrolean sun village of Lajen. Meadows and forest surround our house. You can consciously experience nature again, listen to the birdsong and breathe the clean air. Species-appropriate cattle farming distinguishes our organic farm. Summer - Exercise in nature • Relax in the greenery around the house • Hike in the adjacent forest and listen to the birdsong • Hike on the cozy dirt road to the Antonius Cross, breathe in fresh air and enjoy the panoramic view of the Eisacktal (5 min.) • Hike on the historic Poststeig from Klausen to the Val Gardena and experience the colorful autumn colors • Hike to the Lajen local mountain Raschötz (2100 m) and marvel at the beauty of the Dolomites (3 hours) • Reach the cable car to the unique Alpe di Siusi in just 20 minutes by car Winter - the magic of nature • Experience the forest in new snow • Marvel at the snowy landscape • Watch deer and track their tracks • Tobogganing and ice skating • In just 15 minutes by car, the famous Dolomiti super ski area in Val Gardena (Sella Ronda, Saslong downhill slope). In the sun-drenched village of Lajen, the cradle of the Minnesänger Walther von der Vogelweide and only 500 m from our farm you will find 2 churches, 3 inns, a pizzeria, 2 grocery stores, 1 bakery, 1 butcher, 1 pharmacy, 1 bank, a sports field and a multipurpose field. Public transport (bus) can also be reached 500 m away from our farm. Furthermore, 2 taxi companies are also active in the village. The form of management and the rural ambience make our accommodation unique. Combining tradition and technology is a big challenge. We strive to manage the farm sustainably, which is only organic. We have our own water source with a very good analysis which is additionally rounded off with Grander water revitalization. We generate all the electricity through a photovoltaic system and achieve a CO₂ saving of approx. 13,000 kg annually.

Our house is located in Lajen-Ried, at 780 meters above sea level, on the sunny southern slope at the entrance to the Val Gardena - the ideal starting point for your skiing and hiking vacation. Lajen-Ried is a scattered settlement surrounded by fields, meadows and forests. The immediate surroundings are a dream setting for hikers and cyclists. Enjoy your vacation in nature, walking, mushrooming or cycling in the forest. We are located in the heart of South Tyrol and are very centrally located.
