If you hate staying in hotels but enjoy clean, quiet and privacy, this apartment is exactly what you are looking for. Although not overly large, its a great space to relax after a long day at work. This Bach suite is approx 400 sf and features a queen size bed, fully stocked kitchen, a small seating area and a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. A full size fridge and stove means that you can prepare meals and not have to spend your hard earned money eating in restaurants every day.

A modest prairie home, renovated, located in an old neighbourhood settled by immigrants working on the railroad. It is a 2-minute walk to the local stores, restaurants, and the best bakery west of Winnipeg. There is street parking and the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. One bed is a double, the other is a queen. It is a ten minute walk to the beautiful Wakamow Valley, or over the tracks to old downtown. There is one portable AC, but it is rarely necessary.

Rising on Coteau

When you walk into my house you will feel at home. A walk up the stairs and you will find a hallway with a microwave and a fridge for your convenience. I always keep water bottles and a snack in the fridge for my lovely guests. To the left you will find this cute and cozy room with a single bed. Also you will find towels and a water bottle. My Wifi information is on a piece of paper on the dresser. I look forward to having you stay.

What a fun experience staying in a former school! Brought back such fond memories. Gail can regale you of the flag’s history and her pride in the place is palpable. Very quiet, little village- make sure to bring food if you’re going to be later than 5pm; the town shuts down early! Highly recommend for groups, family reunions and retreats. Comfy beds and lots of pillows!

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at this historic site! The town is extremely quiet, and a great place to go get off the grid. The rooms are so spacious and well worth the amount of money you pay; I wish we had stayed for longer. Lois was lovely and prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning.

This was my second stay at the Skoolinn in Hodgeville. Gail is friendly and welcoming with lots of interesting stories to tell! Wonderful spacious accommodation with dorm like washroom facilities and many rooms for relaxing including a full sized gym with lighting.

The most unique and timeless experience is what one can expect staying with Lois & John! Arriving at Wakamow Heights spurs curiosities immediately, the heritage property is elegantly adorned with antique treasures all carefully curated into a cozy experience that fosters feelings of nostalgia and comfort. One only begins to wonder the unique stories behind the estate, the furniture and timeless decor. Offering a selection of suites, each unique it their own rights, posed elegantly in a neo-Victorian style. Our stay in the Victorian suit was the most romantic and comfortable evening, whether the moments enjoying a glass of wine in the bath, serenading each other to sleep over 1920s classical music, or enjoying the warmth of the fire, words cannot summarize the experience that Lois and John have created. Moose Jaw may not be everyone’s first choice when finding a memorable getaway, however, the experience these two lovely, heartfelt individuals have created is an absolute treasure!
