Holiday rentals with breakfast in Ladakh Division

This was one of the best airbnb experiences I’ve had. The house is in a beautiful village that is 15 minutes into a valley. I would highly recommend hiring/renting private transportation if you’d like to wander off and explore the tourist spots around Leh. I personally had a scooter rented from the city that gave me a lot more freedom to travel out of the village for lunch and sightseeing. The house itself is clean and the hospitality shown by Namgyal ji and his family is unparalleled. The food is top notch and homely. There is enough amenities for a pleasant stay, but no luxuries. I also had an opportunity to accompany the youngest one to the local primary school, so you can imagine how personal the experience was. The village itself is beautiful and one can take scenic walks and small treks. But be warned that the village does not have any shops/restaurants. The closest general provisions store is 15 minutes away towards the main road, or at-least a 45/50 minute walk away.

Tsenzin’s place is faultless…….in fact it surpassed our expectations. It is a beautiful little oasis in lovely Leh. Tsenzin is an extraordinary host, going above and beyond to ensure or stay was comfortable and seamless, always responding quickly. Her recommendations (for restaurants and shopping and all else were spot on). The food is so wholesome and delicious. I can’t imagine a better place to stay and thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here for almost a week and had a truly memorable experience. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. A special mention to Stanzin—she is extremely sweet, always greeted us with a warm smile, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The owner uncle is very resourceful and played a key role in planning our Leh itinerary. He helped us arrange a car for our tours and shared valuable local insights that made our trip smooth and enjoyable. My wife and I stayed in a lovely room with an attached balcony offering breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountains. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The property is located close to Shanti Stupa, with just a slight uphill walk to reach it—the only minor downside, but honestly, it’s nothing compared to the amazing experience we had. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious, made with care and love—just like you’d expect from family. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Leh

I had a great stay at this place with my mom and sister. The pricing is reasonable, and the location is incredibly peaceful, offering breathtaking views. While it may seem a bit away from the market, it’s actually just a 10-minute drive, so you get the best of both worlds—serenity and convenience. That said, it’s important to set the right expectations before booking. Since this is Kashmir, some things might not align with typical expectations, but rest assured, the host and caretaker are exceptional. They were always available and went above and beyond to assist us at any hour. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I would stay here again without hesitation. The views, the tranquility, and the hospitality make it a fantastic choice—just keep an open mind about the regional differences, and you’ll have a wonderful experience.

Immediately felt at ease and welcomed. Stanzin and her family provided exceptional hospitality throughout our visit. Stanzin's proactive communication about the area and directions was much appreciated. Once we settled in, we experienced great comfort. The home and room were impeccably clean and boasted wonderful furnishings. The meals prepared by them were not only incredibly tasty but also offered a variety of choices. Going above and beyond, they even thoughtfully packed biscuits for our onward travels. I wholeheartedly recommend Stanzin's accommodation for anyone seeking a place to stay in Thiksey/Leh.

Come here if you want to experience authentic Ladakhi rural lifestyle with a really kind and sincere family! As written in my last reviews, this is a gem in Phyang village. Below is a few extra highlights from my last stay: 1. Perfect location in beautiful Phyang village. Just a 15-minute walk to Phyang monastery. 2. You can enjoy the quiet and peaceful rural lifestyle without being too far from Leh where you can go to nice cafes, restaurants and do all your shopping. 3. You can observe a sustainable agricultural practices that contain tons of traditional Ladakhi wisdom, which the modern world needs to learn from. 4. The food is top-notch! Everyone in the family is superb cook! Ms. Sonam and Mrs. Rigzin will feed you with the best food on earth! 5. The room is modern and clean, with amenities comparable to a hotel room 6. For your information, the farmstay is 30 min from Leh market by taxi, which will cost you 600 rupees. There are also buses that will cost only 20 rupees one way.

It's a perfect place to stay in Hemis... very warm family, very attentive, who greets hosts with good heart and nice food. I warmly recommend this homestay if you want to have an authentic and pleasant stay with a ladakhi family.

The host was very responsive. I just came back from leh. The property has a very beautiful garden and they grow all kinds of vegetables. You won’t regret living here. Very helpful and kind people. Something i love about ladakh is its kind and generous people. It is not very far from the main market. You can take a walk or just rent a scooty or bike depending upon your budget. My partner kept reminding me of how beautiful the garden was when we reached delhi. Ladakh is one of my favourite places in india and i would definitely stay at this property when i go to leh again. The food was great and property is budget friendly.

Never have I ever felt so much at home in an Airbnb that we felt at Mrs. Wangmo’s place. She hosted us like family. It’s a beautiful house with spacious rooms, full time electricity & hot water supply in the bathrooms all day. We were proactively provided all the information we needed to locate the place, check in, & get comfortable. It is located right on fort road, at a walking distance from all great restaurants, bike rental shops, basically the entire main Leh market. We even experienced planting dahlias in the farm & I thank them for letting us do that! My brother even got sick from all the travelling & we were provided with every kind of support required. Words aren’t enough to describe how sweet & hospitable the couple is. They even cooked us homely breakfast everyday which was so comforting. We talked a lot whenever there was a chance to. I genuinely felt attached to the place & it was quite an emotional moment when we checked out. Highly recommended to stay here when in Leh!

When we first stumbled upon this property on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Tashi is the most thoughtful, gracious host. He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The property is just perfect! The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible. Tashi had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He also helped us arrange taxis and two wheelers for our daily commute at the best price.He went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Thanks Tashi and Leh-Ladakh for a wonderful weekend! We will be back, Toure.

Sonam and Padma will make you feel at home . The place is super clean and the hosts are extremely warm. Don’t miss out on amazing soups in the morning breakfast.

Nice guesthouse, the host is always helpfull and willing. They cook a good meal here.

Amazing location. Travelled with 2 kids and the stay was very comfortable. Highly recommend if you are going to Chamba.
