Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lac de Gérardmer

We stayed two nights in the beautiful chalet and enjoyed it very much. The view was great and you could hike right from the property. We had 3 children with us, which worked wonderfully. Glad to come back!

We booked this place to benefit from facilities that allowed us to enjoy a few days of relaxation even in case of bad weather (Nordic bath, hot tub, infrared sauna and wood fire). The Nordic bath is free access, what could be more pleasant to relax at night and enjoy the calm of the place. Gérard is very welcoming, his well-maintained accommodation and everything is thought out to make us feel at home, with or without children: beds made on arrival, heated house, tissue and bottle of water at the foot of the bed, shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, linens, road maps and tourist books, some DVDs, books and children's games. The house on 3 levels allows everyone to have their own space (5 bedrooms, 3 showers, 1 bathtub and 3 toilets). We plan to come back in the summer this time to discover the region in a whole new way.

The place is located in the mountain with a breathtaking view, the only neighbors, sheep 🐑 The accommodation was clean and super cozy. The sauna and jacuzzi was much appreciated. Leopold shared several things to do in the surrounding area as well as good restaurants. He was very friendly and available. We'll go back without a second thought.

Emilie welcomed us friendly and helpful on site and was also always reliable to reach. The house is in a good location. It is only 2 minutes to the lake and about 10 minutes to the city by foot. The car can therefore be simply left in the parking lot in front of the house.

Everything was great! The location is absolutely amazing and incredibly beautiful. The only thing I found a bit unusual was that bed linens and towels aren't included by default which means you either have to bring your own or pay extra. Otherwise, a wonderful stay! ☺️

Really no shortcomings. Super nice, everything mega clean and even a glass of jam as a welcome gift. We were all really positively surprised.

Excellent stay at Michel's. Thank you for hosting us, always available and ready to share his knowledge of the region. The gite in Le Bonhomme is very spacious, clean and well-equipped. Comfortable bedding. Great value for the money. Its position is ideal for access to all Alsatian or Vosges tourist sites. Lots of brochures. Our little girls were delighted with their stay in Alsace. We would not hesitate to recommend Michel's cottage to our acquaintances.

We had an exceptional stay at this house in Gerardmer! Everything was perfect: the house is spacious, clean and full of character. The amenities are great with pool and foosball that made everyone happy. The logistics and hospitality were spotless, everything was fluid and well organized. And to top it all off, we were lucky enough to have a lot of snow, making the setting even more magical. Many thanks to hosts for this great experience. We will come back without hesitation!

Wonderful accommodation, we immediately feel good, especially thanks to a comfortable interior and a very pleasant terrace... And also because the owners welcomed us very warmly and gave us many hiking tips. I highly recommend it!

Great stay in the heart of the countryside A refreshing weekend

We had a great stay over New Year's Eve with Renata and Norbert. Both are very accommodating and friendly. We felt completely comfortable. The place is very nice and very clean - we felt right at home. If we had any questions or requests, the two were immediately available. We highly recommend the place. It was a pleasant time that we like to think back to.

Our week spent mid-April 2025 at the Fuste de Sertigoutte was extremely pleasant. The well-equipped cottage has a nice nice terrace when you wake up and the whole thing is really warm. The private hot tub is a real pleasure after a nice hike. But the real big plus comes undeniably from the cottage dedicated to the pool! During our week, the weather was not always at the rendezvous, so we spent a lot of time there with the kids, whether it was in the pool (putting the power to swim and have fun) or making pool games. A real happiness! We appealed to Juliette once to replace the defective kettle, she was effective and very kind. The fuster of Sertigoutte will clearly remain in our hearts.🤩♥️

As every year we come for the Gérardmer festival and we are looking for accommodations close to the city and cinemas. The accommodation is very well located: a little away from the city but it remains within walking distance (about twenty minutes), be careful the climb is very steep by car as well as on foot as advertised. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the place is perfect for 4 people. Too bad linens are not provided by default, it's bigger luggage to provide. We'll be happy to go back!

Our stay with Marie was very pleasant. We were received in a very friendly manner and felt right at home. With the fireplace in the living room, you can set up a very cozy atmosphere in the living room and the kitchen is super equipped. The highlight was the terrace, where you can sit undisturbed. We explored the surroundings during a small walk. A beautiful area for hiking enthusiasts. In summary, we can say: We will be happy to come back.

Great stay with the family! The cottage is impeccable, tastefully decorated and with a superb swimming pool. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive. The location is a plus with the proximity to Gérarmer, there are many activities and the city is very attractive. We'll be happy to go back!

We stayed at 12 in the accommodation, we never felt cramped. Everyone has their own room and privacy, it's a real plus! On the cooler days we were able to enjoy the basement with ping pong table, billiards table, palace game and the big plus, the jacuzzi and sauna! Very nice view of the mountain and very nice garden. We recommend this place for holidays with family or groups of friends. Nice area!
