Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Laborie

My stay at the Serenity Escape Rooms was great, I really enjoyed it. Mitch and Serena were very welcoming and accommodating. Mitch was exceptionally helpful and made every effort to accommodate my plans for the different days, also making himself available as my personal taxi service. In one situation he went out of his way to help me resolve a little issue which would otherwise have spoiled my plans for that day of my very brief vacation. The spirit at this home was peaceful and warm. The accommodation is a little remote, but that was what I had been looking for. The Edmund Forest trail, the Enbas Saut trail and the Piton hikes are in the area and if you are in very good shape you can reach and finish them by foot in a day (one day for each). My room had everything I needed (incl. moskito screens on the windows), and while it was a little worn it was perfectly clean and tidy. I can really recommend staying at this home and I will keep the time I spent there in happy memory. Thank you!

We really enjoyed staying at Evan’s place. It is increadibly spacious and clean. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and all the locals were friendly. This was our 5th time travelling to St. Lucia, but our 1st time staying on the south end of the island. You are a quick drive down to Laborie beach which is a nice chill spot, and a very good beach for families. I enjoyed the location - it is situation in the hills with a nice mountain view. You will need a car. Wilson’s restaurant is about a 2 minute walk and has delicious food and friendly service. Would definitely come back here.

My stay at Ian and Helen’s place in Laborie was absolutely superb. The check-in and check-out process was very organized and thoughtful. In fact, Ian picked me up from the airport when I arrived and took me to the airport when I was leaving, which was very convenient. He and Helen helped me to understand how to obtain additional funds when arriving to Saint Lucia. They really opened up their home and provided a very welcoming and comfortable stay. I have traveled all over the world and I must say that a gold standard was established for this Airbnb experience. It was wonderful being in the Laborie Village. I very much appreciated learning more about the community and speaking with people there, as well as some of the fundamentals of the history of Saint Lucia, particularly in the southern region of the island. Ian really helped me to connect with some of the historical sites. There were very nice places to eat there and have Saint Lucian and Caribbean cuisine, as well as places to obtain groceries. I was able to have some of my favorite Caribbean dishes that I love on a daily basis. I had fresh local juices every day. The Internet was excellent, which was important for me based on some work obligations that I had from time to time. I loved having fresh fruits, vegetables, and freshly made local juices. You are within a brief walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. Above all, I really appreciated the level of thoughtfulness, kindness, and generosity that went into the accommodations. I would strongly recommend this place and very much look forward to another visit.

Anne was extremely helpful and responsive from booking and even after our stay with her was over and we moved to another place down in the village of Laborie! I realized I had forgotten my shoes at her place and she and her husband drove them down to me! She organized a driver for our family of 5 from the airport to her place. The traditional St Lucian breakfast made by Anne in the morning was the best introduction to the food. My husband and I and our three kids all said they never had better bakes in the rest of our stay than Anne’s. Thank you again Anne!!

Balenbouche Estate is special. It has a peaceful feeling around it, and is maintained thoughtfully within the surroundings. It’s a beautiful place with historic significance but more than that, it’s a family home. Uta and her family made us feel so at home and are so generous with their time. We hope to return in the future.

We were recommended this location and it did not disappoint. The front door is barely six feet from the surf, and Laborie Bay is beautiful. The home itself is simple but well furnished, but between the beach and the excellent restaurants you’ll barely need to spend any time inside. The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful, accommodating a (very) late check-in, a late check-out, and helping us organise an excellent day-trip with a personal driver who took us to the Soufriere Mud Springs, the Hotel Chocolat Rabot estate, and a beautiful waterfall.

The hosts were super helpful and attentive to all our needs! They also helped provide us with a driver recommendation who goes by Shane who was amazing and took us all around the island at great prices!

I enjoyed my stay at Bernabe’s place. It has a spacious bedroom with comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen with dining table, a cozy living room area, and a modern bathroom with a washing machine. It is a two minute walk to local grocery Massy, as well as a bank, a gym, and a fun open-air bar (The Plaza Bar) that also serves food including wings and fries. Also two minutes away you can catch a local mini-bus to visit other areas. I recommend and would stay here again!

My son and I stayed at Cherry Plum for March break. The place is a true gem and deserves all the 5 star reviews! The view and balcony are even better than photos show: gorgeous and breezy. Abby was extra kind to offer an air mattress (very comfy) with linens knowing I was traveling with my son, and 'my' bed was also supremely comfy. Kitchen and open space is amazing, and apartment is private. Laborie is a beautiful seaside village, amazing beach SO close to Cherry Plum, & not crowded, very chill vibe, and not at all a 'resort scene'. We found Laborie and this rental was perfect, great vibes and excellent local food. What makes it TRULY special is the incredible host who was always available for advice and help if we needed it, she went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We loved getting to know Abby, who is a simply wonderful person, and some of her lovely neighbours (and Doggie!). Can't say enough...We'll return!

Van's place was very comfortable and matched the photos and description. Laborie is a peaceful and beautiful town that shows the true St Lucia. I would highly recommend Val's Airbnb.

Great stay. Sasha & Francis give first class service & were always available to give advice or get you to where you wanted to go.. I’ll stay here again for sure. Their place is at the top of a mtn , they say hill, that overlooks laborie village & it’s a gorgeous view. The kitchen is easy to cook in and the terrace(s) pool and private one for my place was great to relax on. I’m a runner,m. The bnb is located on a very steep incline , which makes the view awesome , but its a steep walk to town about 15 min .. BUT they were always available for a ride down and back if you need it . I would highly recommend taking them up on offers of a guided tour. Whether around the Southern part of the of Island or over to Soufrière area . Francis and Sasha know everyone!!! -not kidding . So wherever you go it was like hanging w family and the service that follows that. I definitely will do the off-road ATV tour that goes from the Airbnb to see wildlife and more wild areas of Laborie

Nice apartment conveniently located.

Great stay here. Very easy check in & they arranged for a pickup at the airport & back to the airport- that was a great help! Nylar was very helpful & just across the street. The apartment is a nice size, as described in the listing. Note there is no air in the kitchen , living room & bathroom but there is in the bedrooms so that was nice (this is noted in the description online). There are ceiling fans in all areas & you get a nice breeze. Right on the water- there is a nice beach area (make sure you bring your own beach/pool towels). The attached patio was nice to sit out on and enjoy the view. The pool up on the rooftop is perfect to dip in & cool off and you can dip in & look at the sea at the same time. There are several restaurants in walking distance & stores to get water/drinks &snacks. They take USD however it is preferred to bring local dollars- most do not take CC and the banks do not accept any torn or badly wrinkled USD.

My first AirBnB host - a winner! I made a last-minute spontaneous booking for a week during the off season, and Patrick (aka Errol) had everything ready. The thing the pics do not show is the amazing hilltop location and view of the southern tip of the island. If you are there for any length of time you will want a 'jeep' with high clearance to get up the rocky road. The host rented me his (and also took it into the shop for a few fixes for me first). On a Sunday afternoon, you can walk down the hill to the water and pass all the houses and cars blaring the country&western station and burning incense and some other things. :) This is a lovely sleepy, casual town. At least in the off season, you may not be able to find "late lunch", and most shops start closing down mid-afternoon. Do your shopping locally at Renes Mini-Mart, or at the Choiseul Massey store. The place is very comfortable and each unit has some impressive furniture pieces. There were a few little things that needed attention, but Errol attended to them all immediately: after a shower drain problem and trouble with the A/C remote, he moved me over to another unit no problem, and had the plumber over and fixed before 9 the next morning). Just be direct and let him know everything you need, and you will get it or get help finding it.

Our stay at Cinnamon Suite was sweet! Calixte was a wonderful host who communicated well before AND during our stay. He had many helpful recommendations upon arrival and knows the island well. The apartment was very clean: the kitchen adequately stocked, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the bed firm and comfortable. The views were spectacular... even better than the photos. The downside? There was a rack to dry our clothes but due to the humidity on the island, nothing dried all week. Make sure you bring extra! As other reviews state, the last section of the drive to the home was an adventure. Its a rocky drive on a hill. It's intimidating at first, but very doable, especially with 4 wheel drive. Enjoy! We'd definitely return to Belle Etoile on a future visit!

Verna is an all-star host. I immediately felt welcome and taken care of when I arrived and with her help getting transportation. She gave me a tour of her large, diverse, and beautiful garden and really helped me to feel at home. The flat is spacious, clean, quiet, and has a great view. Vetus, the taxi driver she uses, is an excellent driver, timely, and a good guy. He became my guide for a day and helped me find a haircut, some clothes, and some great local food. Wilson’s is a restaurant across the street that will cook you delicious meals for a good price. Verna’s place is a 2mile walk mostly downhill to Laborie. I walked to swim in the bay and meet family staying downtown. If you’re looking for a scenic, peaceful, and welcoming accommodation, Verna’s is an excellent choice!

Great place in a quiet location at the edge of Saufriere. 5 min walk to the supermarket and to Botanical Gardens. About 15 min walk to the beach. Some good restaurants around. Cisco (the owner) is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and will recommend this place to our friends!

Great place to stay - if you have a car as we did. Tons of room, well equipped, and recently turned to AirBnb (Some of the kitchen items still had price tags on) LOTS of room for 2, and even with 4 people it wouldn't be crowded. Saphire is rural, and we went for many walks along the headland, in (what we imagine) St Lucia would have looked like 100 or more years ago. The host is incredibly attentive and responsive and although we never met him seems a really nice guy

What an amazing trip to St.Lucia for my son and I. We truly think our stay at Topaz with Roger and Alicia was what made it so incredible. They take pride in their property and hospitality. Roger greeted us to help us get acclimated and Alicia is like your own personal travel planner! They live on the top floor and that gave us great peace of mind knowing they were close by for any questions, advice or needs during our stay. We rented a car and did quite well with my son navigating as I drove. We drove to numerous daily adventures, and we’re lucky enough to have Roger as our driver to Eden Estate one day. The apartment is located about a 10 minute walk from town, which we did several nights. If you aren’t comfortable renting a car or driving to certain locations or any locations, Alicia will assist in arranging taxi services. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience we had staying and interacting with Roger and Alicia.

Esma's place was a gem! beautiful 2 leveled condo with plenty of space and great amenities. Esma is very responsive and get local administrator, Adeline, was very friendly and welcoming as well. Overall, a nice place close to everything if you're renting your own car.

The building felt secure and the room was clean and spacious. Host provided clear and detailed instructions. There are no restaurants or stores walkable so keep that in mind.

I stumbled across One Hamilton Place whilst trying to fill a gap in our stay as our main accommodation had no availability for part of our stay. We arrived at the accommodation met by Gloria who was so down to earth and pleasant from the off. The one bed open-plan apartment was spacious, bright clean and airy, it really felt much more spacious. Then you have the Benefit of the most beautiful surrounding landscape viewed from a choice of windows on all elevations, and two separate balconies, it was just a treat. I and my partner stayed for 4 days, and to be honest, just as we were getting too comfortable, I almost forgot our time was up! I actually felt sad and didn’t want to leave. I would’ve stayed longer if we hadn’t pre-booked another accommodation for the remainder of our stay in St Lucia. To top off our stay, Gloria was such a superb Host and defo ‘friend’ quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again whether alone or as a couple!

Ellen and John really went to the little ones with us! Communication to help us take a castrie taxi was super easy, the accommodation was very clean with little touches as soon as we arrived. They were able to advise us perfectly for activities around the Soufriere and walked us like a real private guide for $95/day. Frankly, I recommend it for those who want to discover the nature side of Santa Lucia!
