Pet-friendly holiday rentals in La Union

The home is large and spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each of the 3 bedrooms was equipped with its own air-conditioner and there were 2 tower fans in the living room area. A rare amenity was the rather large refrigerator instead of the more typical mini refrigerator. The home also had a regular full-size 4 burner stove with oven which was a nice bonus. The large yard that surrounds the house is fenced with 2 locked entry gates; one small gate for people and a large gate for cars or etc. The large yard is filled with various fruit trees and many flowering plants and etc which are maintained by the homes caretaker. The ocean and beaches are close by with the popular surfing community of San Juan, La Union, a relatively short trip to the South. Also, be sure to keep food crumbs and spills wiped up to avoid feeding the ants which seem to love life in the warm tropical Philippines. The hosts and caretakers of the home were all very kind and quick to respond to any questions.

Reasons to book Casa El Chico: 1.) Neil was an excellent host. He’s accommodating, kind, and simple to communicate with. 2.) The house has plenty of space and is clean. 3.) We can cook and prepare our meals. 4.) There are plenty of clean bathrooms, and the water pressure is excellent even when we're all using it at the same time. 5.) The rooms are extremely comfy and tidy. 6.) There are board games! We will definitely book again!

I stayed here before in 2019 & had a pleasant experience, so I thought to book it again and I had a similarily easy and hassle-free trip! While the parking is a bit tight, it is doable — we were able to park a montero and FJ in the garage. The home itself was very clean, spacious, and had everything listed. My favorite part about this place is its location. Very near everything and super close to the beach! Would very much stay here a third time :)

We enjoyed our stay in ate Athena’s place. The rooms were spacious. Although only 1 bathroom. But my friends and i didn’t mind it much. It’s very convenient also that the place has its own convenient store. Also wifi was fast. The only downside for me is the noise, vehicles and motorcycles passing by, but only a part of the day not the whole time. Maarte kasi ako sa noise that’s why this is kind of an issue for me. But all in all, DEFINITELY STILL RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

It was a wonderful place! Peaceful but the road leading to the place was a bit cramped and if you have a big car it will be quite troublesome. Everything was clean and spotless but there was one time the water almost went out while I was showering. All in all, it was quite a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very accommodating and made sure we had all the information we needed before our trip. The caretaker was equally hospitable, always available and ready to assist whenever we needed anything. The place itself was fantastic! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and having three bathrooms was a big plus for our group. There’s also a spacious yard and plenty of parking, which is perfect if you’re bringing pets. Yes, this place is truly pet-friendly, our furry friends had a blast running around the open space. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. The beach is just a short walk away like having the ocean right in your backyard, and it’s wonderfully peaceful and uncrowded. If you’re looking for more activity, San Juan beach and the nightlife scene are also within easy reach. Whether you’re looking to relax by the beach or enjoy a livelier atmosphere, this place offers the best of both worlds. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect from the host to the caretaker who was so friendly and hospitable. All the rooms were amazing, clean and luxury indeed. Very peaceful and very beautiful. Furnitures and appliances were outstanding , coffee maker, nutriblend, stove inside and outside, toaster, sandwichmaker, bonfire, swing, tv, billiards, toys, boardgames, internet (had a problem but was immediately fixed by them) and many more. We really enjoyed our whole stay, and we will definitely come back.

Kaykayo is beautiful place! I wish I would have booked it at least for 3 days instead of just one night to really enjoy the scenery. Big enough to accommodate a big family. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Everything you need for a nice vacation is in here. Complete and spacious kitchen for big groups and lots of activities from beach, pool, video keeping, and even billiards. Not even a dull moment in this place.

The place is sulit! accessible to palengke, grocery shop and other fastfood chains. Okay also yung accommodation itself, rooms, kitchen and CRs. Basic kitchen utensils are available pero if you’re cooking big batches need to bring your own kawali and kalderos. Okay din yung neighborhood, hindi maingay and we did nit encounter a problem naman during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at GGP Homestay! It’s the perfect place for families looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The place is really well thought out— every space was fully utilized, and the overall layout was both amazing and inspiring. It had complete amenities, quality furniture, and a fantastic view that we enjoyed throughout our stay. The location is serene, ideal if you’re planning to bond with family over a staycation. The whole subdivision is super quiet, and even the neighbors were very understanding. Grab delivery is accessible. The owner was also very responsive. GGP Homestay is about 22 to 33 minutes away from the city center, depending on traffic. Getting to the house is challenging because of the steep and narrow road — the host did inform us about this ahead of time, but we admittedly underestimated it. Also, if you plan to explore tourist spots, you might just end up wanting to stay in and enjoy the house instead. Highly recommended for family and friends!

Chino was accomodating and quick to respond to our queries. There's also Ate Lorie, the housekeeperl. She is nice and helpful. She gave us directions and tips on how to go to places we wanted to visit (esp. if you will ride the jeep since it is cheaper). The place is peaceful, relaxing, and spacious. We like its vibe — cozy and nostalgic. It also runs in solar power which was useful when we experienced a whole day brownout. We're comfortable despite the heat outside. The beach is just a minute walk from the house and far from the busy crowd of Urbiztondo. It's also cleaner and calmer as there are only few resorts nearby. We got to enioy the beach for ourselves. As much as we wanted to stay longer at this house, we needed to go home. Definitely coming back to this place and recommending it to others who want to visit San Juan, La Union.

Loved Aki's place. The property has a lot of "spots". A front terrace-ish spot with chairs facing the beach connected to the main bedroom, a cozy veranda, and a bonfire area with chairs, not to mention the 2 bedrooms they have. Loved the cozy and comfy feeling it gave us. The beach is literally just in front of you, a laid-back ocean waves. The parking area is just 1 minute away. As a Pinoy, a generous set of cookware and utensils is definitely a plus! Comfy pillows, beds, and cold AC. I actually did not expect both rooms to have their own smart television... not a necessity, but they went extra for that. The caretaker, ate Rachel is also kind and nice! The entire place is so spacious! If we ever need to go back to Bauang again sometime soon, we will definitely book here again. What you see is what you get!

We had an enjoyable stay at Carm's place and more. We loved everything in the house, from the farmhouse interior to the lovely garden outside. I appreciated the complete kitchen and the provided kids tableware as we had kids with us. We knew before booking that the place is a bit far from the city center but we booked the place for the quiet and charm. Looking forward to stay again soon.

What a wonderful find for a family getaway! The cozy coastal vibe was exactly what we needed, and there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Both villas were spacious and instantly made us feel at home. The beach was absolutely stunning—sunny and vibrant during the day, then cool and rainy at night, which was perfect for catching up on rest. The fully equipped kitchen made meals easy, and having three restrooms in Villa 1 was a big plus for our group. With the cool breeze, sleeping out on the terrace was incredibly relaxing—truly one of the highlights of my trip back to the Philippines. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Stayed in Miguel’s place for 4 days with two other friends. We loved the area where it is located—peaceful and quiet, away from the usual business of LU, but there was a good cafe, poke restaurant, and bar just downstairs so it’s still pretty convenient. Also, the place is VERY spacious. We had so much space for 3 people and did not feel cramped at all. It’s also a two-minute walk from a quiet beach!

Leonora was more than what we were expecting. We enjoyed the place and was what we needed for a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
