Stefania and Ralph are not only the best hosts, but the friendliest and most caring people we have ever met. They truly do everything possible to make you feel like this beautiful place is your home. Stefania seems to truly love being a host and goes out of her way to do whatever she can for you. Honestly, the pictures don't do justice for how amazing the view really is. My friend and I spent the entire weekend on the balcony reading, drinking wine, eating pasta, taking pictures, and especially enjoying the complete peace and quiet. The village of Palaia is also the cutest and safest location for a perfect Tuscan countryside weekend. Can't thank you enough Stefania!

Had a great restful stay at Eleonora’s after a long journey. Loved the window overlooking a garden and hearing all the birds sing. Also loved the a/c! Comfortable little bed and bathroom right across from the room was very convenient. Great location and could walk just about everywhere. Thank you, Eleonora! 10/10 would stay again :)

Unfortunately, my booking was mixed up with the next day, so I had a lot to do in the apartment myself when I arrived. I had a hard time reaching my hosts, and to make matters worse, my phone also misguided me, as there is only one correct way up. If you have a wide, long car, you should really avoid this route. I've driven two Mackes into the car. Narrow cars in particular have it easier here. A station wagon is not a gift for the roads, and certainly not for driving alone. The view, the fireflies, the location is a dream. I have rarely felt so free and at home on holiday as I did there. A paradise!!! Despite the initial experience, I would go on holiday there again at any time, but with a different car. ☺️ Gerda and Lee are two totally warm, nice people.
