The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

We are set in the heart of the Forêt d’Écouves. Which is great for an energetic break, you can go hiking & cycling. For a tranquil time, emerge yourself in nature at its finest. For night owls if you have a clear night you can see the stars as there isn’t any light pollution. Also we’re not too far from the tourist attractions too

Discover the charm of our cottage, a recently renovated former bakery, offering a lovely view of the garden and the surrounding countryside. Our cottage is located on the banks of the Ranvre, on the edge of the Ecouves forest, in the heart of the Normandy-Maine Regional Natural Park, which has been designated a UNESCO Global Geopark. Explore the forest paths with electric mountain bikes available for hire (€15 for a day or €10 for half a day)
