This was so fun! a v cute space with plenty of outdoor seating. just a heads up, if you’re above 6’5 it’s a little tight even at the tallest point. other than that, incredible!

Sylvia was a terrific host. She was flexible and fast with her responses. The property was exactly as it appeared on the listing. Thanks again for the stay! We had a great time!

We LOVED having our Thanksgiving weekend at The Shoals Corner! The unit is charming, very comfortable, with a pull-out couch/bed conversion in the living room that gives a great view of the ocean (and sunsets!). From there, we could see a pod of dolphins feeding for quite a while one morning! We brought a crockpot and fixings from home, and made our turkey breast in the cozy kitchen for our holiday meal. The kitchen is really well stocked for up to four people. There's lots to do in central Ventura, so we worked out at a gym a couple of times, shopped for food and beverage extras next door to the gym, and drove around to look at neighborhoods. We also played miniature golf another day and thought about going to a movie...but the beach vibe, fresh air, and sunshine were so satisfying that we avoided indoor activities. Absolutely LOVE this house! Felt like home the minute we walked in. Everything was as it was detailed in the listing and the photos are very accurate. Kitchen was well equipped which was so appreciated since we were there for the whole week of Christmas. Plus the location was sooooo special, quiet, private and beautiful sunsets. Cruz was a great host, super responsive and always helpful. We would absolutely return and stay there again!
