Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Capellania

Beautiful villa up in the hills. Our host Pepe was fantastic -meeting us at a pre-arranged location and driving with us directly to the house despite a very late (2am!) flight arrival. The gardens and land around the house are beautifully tended and Pepe took great pride showing us around and we benefitted with fresh grown beans, artichokes, spinach, oranges, lemons….and of course daily eggs from the chickens! It’s approx 15min drive to the nearest towns/supermarkets and 40min into Malaga, but if you want peace and quiet in the middle of stunning scenery then this villa is ideal.

Miguel Ángel was very clear with the arrival instructions and I had no problems locating his house. The house was pristine and very tastefully decorated. Except for the bathroom, which is downstairs, the rest was distributed in the same room.

My wife and I spent around 2 weeks at this beautiful place. The views are amazing and the property is located in a quiet neighborhood. Anita is amazing, a super host, very helpful and knows the area well. She answered all our questions and recommended restaurants and other businesses. Although Mijas Pueblo is a walking distance away, we found driving our rental car saved us time and energy. Everything seems to be just a few minutes away, even the coastline and the airport. We like peace and quiet, so coming back to this quiet setting at the end of the day after spending time in busy Málaga, Marbella or Fuengirola was a delight. Pool and terrace were a joy, clean and well maintained. The surroundings are in a beautiful mountain, so you will find yourself driving or walking uphill or downhill most of the time. There are a few steps from the entrance to the rental unit. I’m in my 60s and good health, had no issues. We can’t wait to be back!

We are very happy with your stay. The place is beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood. It provides rest and a lot of privacy. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen - there is nothing missing. The views are beautiful. The whole house is very clean. A place that is most definitely worth recommending, we will definitely return to it :)

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

Juliette's house is really wonderful. Very high quality and practical furnishings. Everything is there, nothing is missing. We were warmly welcomed by Xavier. The complex is very quiet. The communal pool is very clean and well maintained. It was a nice cool-down. We were invited to a party in the corner and Juliette's house was perfect for us and our 2 children (2 and 4 years old). The children felt very comfortable and there was everything we needed. A supermarket is a few minutes away by car. Dord Mijas is only 10 minutes away by car. Nothing is really feasible on foot. You already need a car. But there is a parking space directly in front of the house. We will be happy to come back!

place was very clean at check in. host Sara was excellent to deal with. location is amazing, close to beach and restaurants. after touring for 10 hours a day we enjoyed coming back and spending our time on the beautiful large balcony overseeing the ocean. will be coming back for sure soon

Virginia , was a wonderful host sorted a taxis for our return to the airport and couldn't be more helpful. only down side for us was the apartment is a bit out the way from restaurant and bars . you really need to get a taxi . really could be doing with hire car next time . on the plus side the sea views from the balcony and roof top were outstanding. would really recommend the apartment but have a car at hand to get about .

Very large apartment, Very proactive when there were requests The place was good, but if you want to get around every day there is a small bus to get around but finished early at the end of the day But there is city bus transportation very close by.

It was the most beautiful AirBnB I've been to so far. Just the view when you get up in the morning, make yourself a coffee in the outdoor kitchen and then enjoy this breathtaking view. I highly recommend it. The bathroom is nice and clean. In the kitchen you can prepare everything. Groceries can be easily delivered via the Glovo app. Better than any hotel. The host is very accommodating and has always shared tips for the area. I have nothing to complain about. Always happy to come back. I will book this AirBnB again in the future! 😁

The apartment is beautiful and with very nice views, everything in great condition, very well arranged and Blanca is very kind and friendly. She recommended some places to eat and drink that were really good, I would definitely repeat!

We loved our stay at this flat! The sea view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking and made every morning so relaxing with a coffee or glass of wine in the evening. The flat was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was super friendly and quick to answer any questions, which made things really easy for us. If you’re looking for a cozy place with an amazing view, this is it. We’d definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay, very quiet and year round pool available. Photos were slightly different to what it was. Only down fall was the was no aircon in the bedroom, but there was in the living room so we slept on the pull out sofa. Very clean and responsive hosts, would definitely visit again. The area is tranquil and beautifully quiet and although not all aspects of the apartment was like the photos, it was nevertheless a beautiful place to stay. Thank you very much!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Joaquin's. From the moment we arrived, he was extremely welcoming, attentive and professional. The apartment is superb, tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. Nothing is missing: the kitchen is perfectly equipped, the utensils are quality, the bedding is very comfortable, the storage well thought out... everything is there to feel at home. But the real gem is the penthouse itself, an incredible, bright, quiet place with a magnificent view. Joaquin was one of the best hosts we've met on Airbnb: always available, responsive and very kind. A huge thank you also for carrying our suitcases on arrival, a simple gesture but so appreciated! It's a flawless one. We'll be back without a second thought. Again, thank you for this great experience!
