The nearest body of water is Jokijärvi, 600 meters to the beach, where there is a beach and a rowboat. Connection to the official sled trail. Hiking trail Simosenpolku next to the property. Maintained ski trail to ski trails. Kalle Päätalo Museum, Kallioniemi, about 3 km away.

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and roomy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a sauna + bathroom. The loft also has plenty of space and sleeping places. The cottage has all the modern comforts and the large windows open up to a magnificent lake landscape in two directions. In the warmth of the fireplace, it is nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence. You will enjoy and relax here, welcome!

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

We offer a unique accommodation option in the best places of Iso-Syöte. The ski slopes are only 200 meters away as the crow flies, and you can head straight from our yard along forest trails to ski. The area's diverse skiing, cycling and hiking opportunities are within arm's reach. The windows offer a breathtaking view of the mountains.

Vaaran Huoneistot welcomes guests! The apartments built in the old village school in Syöte were completed in the spring of 2023. Kuru is a lovely compact apartment with good basic equipment. Ideal for two guests, but can accommodate four. The apartment has a shared storage room with the neighbor, where you can store bikes/skis, etc. NOTE! Linens, bath towels and final cleaning are not included in the price! Linens 10e, towel 5e and final cleaning 40e. Ski trails nearby!

Cycling routes can be reached from Iso-Syötteen or Pikku-Syötteen.
