This is one of the few remaining pure Japanese-style sho-inzukuri buildings in Hiroshima City, built 75 years ago, shortly after the war.One step from the main street, in a quiet environment, there is a small Japanese-style garden where you can relax. There are items in the Mai House that are only kept there, such as a vase that partially melted due to the heat from the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945, and photographs from around 100 years ago.
