This home was the perfect stay to end our 13-day island hopping tour. After 4 hotel stays we were beyond excited to see the home equipped with so many treats for an amazing Maui experience. From morning coffee paired with the sunrise on the lanai to turtle watching out back at sunset, we had an amazing stay and the unit had everything we needed. Todd was responsive when messaged and the stay was pleasant. No AC but the nights are cool and the ceiling fans are strong (and have remotes). It was nice to have a little stock of amenities to use and contribute to such as sun spray, laundry detergent, and other things that aren't the easiest to travel with. I was in the area for work and it was really nice to have a quiet place to stay that was away from the tourist hubbub. I wouldn't recommend this place without some vehicle accommodation from the get-go; the nearest bus stop is about 1 mile away, same as the nearest grocery store. The location is beautiful, though, and I really enjoyed all the times I walked and driven.

I was incredibly impressed with this place. I've stayed in many hostels over the years and this may be the cleanest one I've ever stayed at. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk is manned 24/7 which is nice. The community areas are large but cozy and very peaceful. The room I stayed in was an 8 bed, mixed dorm and it was dark and quiet and the bed was comfortable. In the morning there was all you can eat chocolate chip pancakes served right off the griddle and delicious coffee. the lobby area has comfortable furniture. Everything looked brand new and stylish. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood and is within walking distance of a lot of excellent small businesses. As long as you are OK with the concept of communal housing (hostels) this is the place for you. I would definitely stay here again. I've saved it in my Airbnb profile as a favorite.

Wow! Where do I start. I’ve travelled and stayed in AIRB&B”s all over the world. Every now and then you come across a place that truly drives the experience. This is one of those places. Beautiful, quiet, island country feel, private and safe…. I felt like I was living in a dream. Place was CLEAN 🧼 Bedding was super clean and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It’s upstairs, so you can walk out and hang out in the patio and witness a 360 mountain and ocean view…. It reminds me of countryside Japan so much. Vernon was super responsive and kind with check in instructions… This is the greatest deal on the island and at this price and experience, Vernon will take a lot of business from the competition. 10/10 !!!! I’m very picky, I recommend this place to EVERYONE visiting the island, you won’t regret it….

The North Shore lookout was truly a highlight of our two week Hawaii vacation. It had breath taking views, wonderful hosts, a beautiful room, yummy breakfasts that changed daily, and the location was very close to interests but also put you into an oasis away from it all.

Lori's place was outstanding. Better than expected and probably that best AirBNB that we have stayed at - ever. The location was in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but we literally never really 'saw' the neighbors. Everyone is very private and it was wonderfully quiet. The view of the sunset from the back deck combined with the great privacy made this an ideal place to stay. Lori is an amazing host and literally thought of everything. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen and cooking facilities were clean and exceptionally well-stocked, all of which made it wonderful place to stay. Would give it 6 stars if that was an option! Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, upcountry stay on Maui!
