The overnight stay with Vanessa's family was great, I was warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. Everything was taken care of, the location is great, quiet and spotless - and the breakfast lovingly prepared, even with homemade jam. Bonus were cuddle units with the family dog!

We stayed at Eden Cottage for 3 nights in mid June, as a family of 4 adults and our dog. Big thanks to our host Martina, who was very prompt and supportive with any of our requests. Checking into the house was very easy, and all house rules were clearly communicated. A Things-To-Do folder made it easy for spontaneous activity ideas. The house is well located in the countryside of Stein am Rhein, and is very close to supermarkets. The railway station, Rhine river and old town are within 10-15 minutes walking distance. The house itself is ideal for 4 people and a pet. All amenities are available, and the interior decor is great and thoughtful. The large garden is beautiful with many plants and trees. Our dog really enjoyed himself exploring around the garden. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!

The accommodation was just perfect – very clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The location is an absolute dream: quiet, beautiful and yet well connected. I would especially like to highlight the hosts, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. I highly recommend the accommodation and the host and would come back anytime!

John is very friendly and always immediately available by phone or in person. The location of the house is great and is very central. Shopping, restaurants and the lake are just a few minutes away. It is very well maintained and clean.

It's a great place, exactly like the photos. Cornelia and Thomas were really helpful, friendly and nice. Just two things to consider: 1. You have to climb couple of stairs to reach the apartment. For us it was not a problem at all, but if you have someone with reduced mobility in your group it could be a point to consider. 2. It could be quite warm during summer days as there isn't any AC, however, the lake is just at the other side of the street ;) Thank you Cornelia and Thomas 😊

The village in which the accommodation is located is absolutely charming and what Gerda has done from the attic of the farmhouse is simply stunning. With a lot of love for Detail, a retreat has been created, from which you can also take beautiful hikes and walks. Surely other things too - I explored it on foot but it was enough, because I just wanted a few quiet days 😊

Great house and exceptionally beautiful and large garden. Open and warm-hearted hosts who were always available to help, supportive, and entertaining. Holidays can be so beautiful 150km from home. We'll happily come back to you anytime.

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon, Doreen, Thilo and their two k cats Yumi and Orion. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt right at home. The house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The cats were super fun and cute. They live near a train station, getting around was super easy. We would definitely come back to stay with them. Thank you again!!

Very warm welcome, great host and very friendly place!

We immediately felt comfortable in the villa, after the wow effect when entering. The contact with the host was also sympathetic and accommodating. Despite bad weather, you could use the pool and hot tub. The gym is superbly equipped - we were busy ^^ also a big shout out to the cleaners, everything was sparkling clean and the bedrooms were very nicely prepared.

We loved our stay here. The house was incredible, as pictured with enough room for our party of 8 including 5 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. The ability to request a pack and play for infant and toys for my toddler was a game changer. The space was thoughtful and enough room for everyone to relax. The town is very quiet and sweet. You can easily walk to Migros and local restaurants. It was perfect for day trips to Thun, Lucerne, Bern, Zurich. It was the perfect landing spot for our group. Laundry is always a plus! Just a couple notes if you have kiddos and plan to do all public transportation, (not a big deal if you have a car but we didn't want to travel with car seats): the home is all tile throughout, not a lot of space to roll around if you have crawling babe etc. The house was absolutely walkable with a stroller from bus stations but don't follow google maps on the 345 bus stop, it'll take a shortcut up to the house that is all stairs. Take the 346 bus instead.
