Apartment holiday rentals in Krems an der Donau

Wonderful location in the heart of the Wachau Valley. Keep in mind most vineyards are closed Sundays, otherwise the town is very friendly with an ample amount of walkable restaurants. The food market up the street is a plus. The building itself has a lot of character, we appreciated stay in such and old and we'll preserved building. Thanks yo Markus for responsive communications from start to finish!

A very well located place, next door to some very excellent coffee. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well organised and there was an actual freezer and big fridge. The apartment did get quite warm as we were there on two 29 degrees days but everything else was great. Thoughtful and tastefully decorated and the little lounge room was great to chill out in. There’s a market to enjoy on Saturday mornings and you are right near pedestrian mall. A great base for wine visits!

We spent 5 beautiful days in Krems. Matthias made a significant contribution to this. He gave us so many tips and suggestions that we simply have to come back again ;o). The apartment is bright, friendly, very clean and quiet. Many details have been considered in the furnishings. We immediately felt very much at home.

I love the fact that even if it’s a small place, I had everything I needed. The bed is huge and really comfortable. The only issue I found was that the kitchen sink was a little to small to wash the dishes. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone that wants to visit the area.

The apartment is lovingly designed and the whole property is in the middle of an enchanting garden - we felt completely comfortable and welcome here. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.

My husband and I spent 9 days in the wonderful apartment of Willibald and his wife. Very bright, spacious apartment. Modernly furnished, beautiful bathroom with large mirror cabinet. Everything is very clean. Beautiful large terrace overlooking Krems and the surrounding area. We always ate outside. Krems is easy to reach on foot or by bike. The Gföhrer family is incredibly nice and took care of us wonderfully! 100% recommended!

Susanna gladly welcomed us and she was very friendly and helpful. The apartman was well-equipped, spacious and perfectly clean. The good location made it easy to reach hiking destinations in a short time by car, and also the lovely old town was a good walk from the apartman, where we enjoyed delicious dinners. We would happily return any time in the future, absolutely recommended! Just like on the pictures.

We had a very enjoyable stay! The apartment was lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. The beds were super comfortable – we slept really well. Parking directly in front of the house was completely uncomplicated. We would like to highlight the nice and smooth contact with Andreas – fast, friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism: the apartment was quite warm – a little cooler would have been ideal. Nevertheless, absolutely recommended – I'd be happy to come back.

The contact with Sonja was excellent and extremely friendly from the first moment. Due to the huge garage, parking the bikes was also no problem. Our boys loved the whirlpool in the garden and we also discovered the terrace for ourselves the last two days. You have to go through the whole house, but there are worse things. There are various wine taverns in the area where you can stop for food and drink. Krems, the city centre and an outdoor swimming pool are also wonderfully accessible by bike. Personally, it got a little too warm in the apartment at some point, but the rest of the family was still happy and is less sensitive. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. And even when our coffee machine went on strike, Sonja from exile (she was on holiday at the same time) immediately provided a replacement. I have rarely experienced anything like this. Ordered and delivered ;-) Thanks again!

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The property is very well equipped and very cozy. The area is very quiet and perfectly suited for a relaxing break with your family. All in all, we were very happy with everything and look forward to seeing you again!

We spent a long weekend at Gerti's farm. Lots of peace and space. Very nice area and many opportunities to spend time in nature.
