Zavalatica is in the middle od the island, Korčula is 25 km away and Vela Luka 20 km. The sea is crystal clear, ideal for swimming, snorkeling and fishing. What guests are saying:“The apartment is quite small but the outside trace with table and chairs plus the sun lounges down next to the sea provide additional space. The bathroom is excellent with lots of towels and hot water and the kitchen has good quality pots, pans and crockery. We did not use the air conditioner as the apartments proximity to the sea kept the place quite cool. Daniela was extremely prompt in answering emails and messages and Goran was very kind in picking us up from Cara when we arrived. The restaurant only a few metres away is excellent and the supermarket was able to provide the essentials we needed. We did not have a car but were able to walk the 3kms to Cara to catch the local bus into Korcula town. ( We are both in our sixties so not a tough walk) The taxi back to the ferry was organised by Daniela for us. (300kuna by metre) which we also appreciated. If you love the sea and swimming, this apartment is perfect.”

Its location is perfect, in the old town and close to the ferry terminal. Dijana met us at the ferry terminal and brought us to the apartment. She was a wonderful host and was extremely welcoming and helpful and was available if we needed anything. I will certainly stay here again if I return to Korcula in the future.”

But its location is what makes it so special. You could not ask to be in a better spot to enjoy views directly out to sea, to the harbour and to Korcula old town, which is about a 10 minute walk away. It is a beautiful uninterrupted view by day and a pretty one by night from large balcony. I swam every day from a little beach about 3 minutes away in an idyllic spotlessly clean cove. We used a car in the day to explore unspoilt beaches elsewhere but there are fantastic restaurants in the old town and lots to see and do even without your own vehicle.”
