Batonship Inn Osaka, commonly known as BIO, is a renovated building operated by Batonship LLC. It is located in a complex called "Kita no Kita Nagaya", which consists of 13 sections of offices, shops and accommodation. A 'nagaya' is a simple building with adjoining units that share walls with their neighbours. It is a type of multi-unit residential building where each unit has its own independent entrance. This traditional Japanese housing style has contributed to the development of vibrant communities and cultures in the region, but is declining year by year due to factors such as ageing. Nevertheless, there are still many tenements left in the Kinki region, especially in the downtown area of Osaka. “Kita no Kita Nagaya” is a new approach to revitalising Osaka's Nagaya. Carefully renovated with earthquake resistance, thermal insulation and soundproofing, the ground floor has been reorganised mainly for shops and the first floor mainly for accommodation. Part of the ground floor has been reduced in size to create a communal garden that can be used for events and other purposes, making it a facility that is loved by the local community. There are six BIO units. Each BIO unit has been renovated with a different design theme, using natural materials and preserving as many of the building's original features as possible. Find your favourite among the six units and make it your own base for your trip.

The surrounding area is very quiet, suitable for slowing down and enjoying the comfort of travel. The surrounding facilities are complete, including restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, and convenience stores, all within walking distance. There are many transportation lines here that can easily reach Osaka and surrounding attractions, making your journey easier.
