Holiday houses in Komari

We had a great few days at Adams’s place. Brilliant host and easy checkin, really close to town and all amenities. Great for surf spots and we saw a few elephants out of town. Oh and importantly for me, the AC is utterly silent. Would definitely stay again 😎

Very beautiful place two minutes walk from the beach (although you cannot swim there - you need to walk 15 minutes to reach the closest beach). Fazi was a great host that helped us arranging everything we wanted to do there (including surfing lessons which were great!), and offering very cheap prices for the tuktuk transfers. Also, he’s an amazing chef, we really had the best breakfasts in Sri Lanka cooked from him! He also organized dinner with a very delicious fish and meat bbq. The place has a lot of shared space, so if there are other guests it gets very social and fun. Overall we really enjoyed our 3 nights there and can highly recommend this place :)

Large property in nature by the beach (very beautiful). Tree garden with a large pool. Air conditioning in bedrooms but not in living spaces (fan). Very nice caretaker. There is a kennel with two adorable dogs. Great showers. No cook but a supermarket a few kilometers away as well as surf breaks. The only downside is the smell of the cow enclosure next to the kennel can be unpleasant at certain times of the day.

Very nice place to stay in a great camp. The hosts are super friendly and the food is also cheap and very tasty. Perfect for anyone who needs some peace of Arugam. The waves on site are something for advanced people and boards can be borrowed there. Overall, we had a really great stay.

A perfect place to stay just outside the busy centre of arugam bay. A bit far to walk but easy in a tuk tuk or a rental car to the many surf spots or the centre. The house is beautiful and peaceful with areas to relax on the ground floor with friends. The highlight of the booking and what really makes it worth the money is Mita - a local friend of Nicola’s who looks after the property during the day and, if you ask nicely, can help you with anything you need. He made us an amazing bbq in one of the evenings and prepared the best breakfasts for the group every morning. Thank you Nicola and Mita! We will definitely be back soon!

We loved the Airbnb. Julia is an excellent host. We only slept one night there. Hopefully we will be back one day! The main road is 10 min by walk. You can easily walk to restaurants and bars. The dogs at the Airbnb are super friendly and too cute! ☺️ Thanks for having us! Best regards Alex & Antonia

We had 6 very nice days in the house. Private, slithly remote but with easy access to beach, surf, restaurants and all we needed. The family running the house are super kind, responding and helpful. Thanks

We had an amazing stay at this Arugam Bay Airbnb! The space was incredibly spacious, with balconies galore, offering stunning views. The interior design was both beautiful and functional, making our stay truly comfortable. The kitchen was a lifesaver for our midnight cravings, and the pedestal fans were a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. But what really made our stay special was Adam's exceptional hospitality. He ensured our comfort, from taking care of the house to kindly accompanying me to Eid prayers and even lending me his serong. Adam's thoughtfulness and helpfulness made our stay truly unforgettable.
