Very comfortable, well located accommodation. Only a few minutes walk to train line and bus stops so catching public transport to different areas of Kyoto. Within walking distance to Nishiki market and great shops. Clear instructions for easy check-in and check out. Great to have access to a washing machine.

Ito was a responsive owner who answered our queries to the best of his abilities. Host accommodated to our changes to date due to itinerary changes. room was very well maintained. futon was extremely comfortable. Spacious for a family of 3 to 4 pax. Will definitely book again. Thank you

A fantastic location, walking distance to all the attractions, dining, and entertainment that the Namba area of Osaka has to offer. While being close to the center of everything, it is still private enough to be quiet at night for a peaceful night's rest. The host was responsive to all of our needs. One thing to note is that the unit is two stories, with a steep spiral staircase as the only means of access to the master bedroom. So, you may need to consider if it is suitable for seniors and/or children in your group.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay in Kyoto. Noriko and her son were incredibly gracious hosts. They made check-in and check-out really easy, and we had great communication before and after our stay. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The location is ideal — in the middle of just about everything you want to do in Kyoto, and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. I think my favorite thing was the cypress ofuro (bathtub) with digital temperature control — pure bliss!

We stayed here for few days during our Japan trip. The house was beautiful and you can get a true guesthouse experience. Location was good, in a quiet neighborhood and not too far from public services and some good temple sights with almost zero crowds. Owner was very kind and responded quickly to any questions. Book this if you want to experience living in a traditional Japanese residence.

Fumika-san is a great host! Very understanding, calm and kind, responds quickly, went to meet and greet us at the bus stop, which was very considerate. Highly recommend the place to anyone! Our host Ichiashi responded to messages instantly, which always made us feel safe, and was always open to questions. The house was like a dream, you feel like you are in a Japanese house. The bicycles waiting for you in front of the house are perfect for experiencing the spirit of Kyoto. The host has even prepared a map for you for places to visit in Kyoto. Peace flows in through the windows overlooking the backyard of the house. Everything from iron to plate, from coffee to shampoo, even bath salts for the bathtub has been thought of inside the house. I would highly recommend this listing. The accommodation was clean and really had everything we needed. It was perfect. Plus, it's spacious, which is pretty rare in Kyoto. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Public transport easily accessible on foot.

When we came to Japan, one of our dreams was to stay in a traditional Japanese house and spend time in lush nature. After staying in Tokyo for 3 days, we moved to Atsushi's house. They responded very quickly to our questions about transportation, and they helped us find the house after the station. They informed us about the traditional life of the house and Japan. The house was much more beautiful and clean than we saw and imagined in the photos. We were fascinated by every detail. You can live a lifetime there. We are eager to come back to Japan and stay there. We recommend everyone to experience it. We thank Atsushi and his family very much for everything.

The hosts were amazing and helped us to make reservations. (you need dinner reservations if you want to eat!) Communication was clear and instant. The space is beautiful, better than the photos. The beds were comfortable. The washing machine was a huge plus. The garden in-between the spaces is beautiful. The location is near public transportation, And enough off the beaten path the we didn't feel like we were trapped in a tourist zone. We rented bikes from a place down the street which was super fun. And there is delicious pizza 2 doors down- we thought no way are we eating Pizza in Japan and yet at one point we didn't want to go anywhere and it was right there. Delicious! I highly recommend staying at a day in Khaki. It was fantastic!

Junko’s place is beautiful and incredibly well decorated. Every aspect is taken care of to make you feel cozy and welcome. Junko was very kind and welcomed us with a ride from the train station and a tour of the place. The place is located in a very beautiful part of the country, with lots of temples, shrines, and scenic routes nearby. We also were able to easily do daytrips to Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka.

Great value for a quiet stay in a traditional neighborhood just off the subway line. Easy access to rest of city. Apartment was spacious and provided a traditional Japanese living experience. Would stay again.

All in all good!The kitchen is fully equipped, there are basic living items, and the homestay owner is also very friendly, helping to carry your luggage upstairs!But there are a few places I think it can be mentioned, first of all, the equipment to regulate the water temperature in the bathroom is more complicated, didn't understand at first, it took more than 15 minutes to turn to the heating water (go to the cold water first, then move the hot water slowly, there is warm water).The second is that although it is only 4 minutes from the nearest MTR station access, the entrance with the lift is 8 minutes away and is slightly inconvenient.

Like the name of the area, it's a good place to live, and a place where you want to stay for a long time. Someday, if I lived or traveled for a long time, I always wanted to stay around Nagai Park. I took a vacation, and I finally came here with the courage. I was lucky to have this place, so I chose it. As for the accommodation, in fact, I thought it was OK without a washing machine, but it was so nice to have a TV, range, washing machine, and air conditioner. I don't have any complaints at all, so even if I want to use something full about the interior of the accommodation, there's nothing that comes to mind. The host was Osaka himself. He is a bright person who is energetic, has a lot of laughter, and he gets to know everyone quickly. I've never experienced eating with the property manager, but we ate together, had a small daily conversation, and it was a fun time. They always make sure you don't need anything or run out of anything. Even if the person who comes doesn't speak Japanese or English, there is an interpreter app, so they will help you in any way. I think it's really cool because I'm a host who says, "Foreign language is the word of other countries, so I can't be wrong, so even if I'm wrong, I don't get frustrated, I use it consistently and get used to it." Because of the schedule, I moved to Nagoya for a while now, but it was an area that I still remember so much that I wanted to go back right away, and it was a really satisfying accommodation. The people in the area are friendly and have a lot of laughter. It is a neighborhood where people smile when you are together, and it is always a quiet village, but it becomes a lively village on weekends or sports games.

The accommodations were excellent and Aoi-San was very responsive. You can't beat the location with access to Dotenbori and Kuromon steps away. Train station is about 3-5 minutes depending on which line you need to catch and Namba Walk shopping was a nice surprise. Highly recommend staying here and will do so again without hesitation.

The host is very friendly and the experience is very good.
