Drinking water is delivered to the cottage and washing water is obtained from a clear pond. There's a gas stove and a gas refrigerator. There is no electricity in the cabin, but a battery and inventory can be found for charging the phone

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and spacious. There is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen downstairs. There's also plenty of room and sleeping space on the loft. A new beach sauna will be built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the comforts of modernity, and the large windows open up to a great lake view in two directions. Quiet location on the shore of the beautiful Ylä-Juumajärvi, about 2 km from Juuma village, 3 km from Pieni Karhunkierros, near Oulanka National Park. Nearby are wonderful nature sites: Karhunkierrokset, Riisitunturi, Ruka, Kiutaköngäs, etc. You can make day trips to nearby destinations. A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
