We are located in the picturesque and untamed surroundings of a foothill village in northern Bohemia. We’re quite high up, so from the meadow beyond the threshing floors, we can see the Krkonoše and Jizera Mountains. The accommodation is in a garden house that seems to be a model of minimalism – in a space measuring 3.5 x 5 metres, you can use a common room, a shower, a bedroom, a dressing room, a sauna for 4 people, and a toilet. The cottage is heated by a wood-burning stove; we will make sure it is lit and warm before you arrive, but you will need to keep the fire going. I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Apartmán Malá Skála

A small cozy cottage for two in a quiet part of Malá Skála. Impressive views, fireplace, sauna, smokehouse. Outside there is a grill, hammock, comfortable seating, fish in the pond. Comfort. You will heat the cabin yourself, in the fireplace and in the sauna with a wood stove. The wood is by the cottage. There's no other source of heating in the cottage! The living room has a comfortable sofa bed for everyday sleeping. Kitchen equipped with common appliances - fridge, glass ceramic hob, extractor, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and extra smoker.

In the main room there is a bed, a table with two armchairs, a TV and a dresser. The apartment is located in the heart of the Bohemian Paradise, near the sandstone rock town with Valdštejn Castle, Hrubá Skála Castle and Trosky Castle. Ideal for an active holiday - the possibility of rafting on the Jizera River, well-maintained bike paths and dozens of tourist destinations.

The apartment is part of a family house with a large garden. Suitable especially for families with children. Located in a quieter part of the village, it is about 300m to the center. The house is protected from the north by a rock massif called the Pantheon, where there is a chapel and the ruins of Vranov Castle. Everything can be seen directly from the garden. In the garden there is also a roofed pergola with a grill in the middle, a playground, a trampoline, a magic show and swings. Possibility of parking behind the fence. Malá Skála is a village known as the Heart of Bohemian Paradise. We offer accommodation for up to 8 people, with a pergola, grill and garden. The original cottage was in a state where we had to decide "to demolish or to preserve"? In the end, the more demanding option won - to preserve the cottage, its features and character and adapt it to family use. We like imperfections and it makes the cottage completely different from new buildings. Children will love the cozy sleeping area under the roof, while adults will love the glazed veranda.

In the immediate vicinity you will find panoramic routes and views, beautiful hiking trails and bike paths. Valdštejn Castle is 1.5 km away, Hrubá Skála Castle 4 km. Kost Castle and the ponds in the Podtrosecké Valley are about 9 km away. You can reach the center of Turnov in 5 minutes by car. Other activities and activities are offered along the Jizera River.
