Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Knox County

This was perfect for my solo vacation! It is in a perfect location, close driving distance to Camden and Belfast. But also right across from the beach and next to a great pizza place for the night I didn’t feel like venturing out. It feels private and peaceful even though it is right by the road. I loved having my coffee on the porch watching the boats. Thanks to the thick curtains and sound machine, I slept so well. Loved the tub, the comfy bed, the well stocked kitchen. I will be back!

I love Maine's working waterfront and even though my stay was in the off season there was a wonderful glimpse into our fishing economy and the hard work it takes to keep it happening. The quality of light in the unit was amazing, and viewing the moon across the water was stunning. Easy to access all that the midcoast has to offer within an easy ride, to Rockland and Damariscotta and Boothbay and Wiscasset -- my favorite spots. Beautiful places nearby to hike and explore. Onsite staff people Debbie and Blair were wonderful; when I had an issue with the internet -- it was fixed quickly. Unit was well equipped for a person who loves to cook. Also having a bathtub in a waterfront apartment was a plus since many don't have them. Clean, comfortable, safe-feeling -- all one could want in a Maine coastal vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer but instead I'll just plan to go back again.

I stay on Vinalhaven often..my happy place. A couple of the spots I typically stay were unavailable so I decided to try something new. George's spot is quiet but very convenient to Main Street and some of the in town hiking areas. I even checked out the little brewery around the corner and enjoy nice conversation there. You always feel welcome on Vinalhaven. While the house could use a little painting on the outside I was pleasantly surprised with the many amenities inside. Everything needed for a relaxing stay was there. I will return

Pure perfection. The town is gorgeous and the apartment is equally beautiful. It was clean, well designed, and comfortable. There’s also lots of hot water with a ton of water pressure. This place is walkable to pretty much every thing you would hope to see in Camden. We will be back for sure - we fell in love with that apartment and the area.

Staying at Jin and Wayne’s place was truly restorative. BEAUTIFUL property, LOVELY hosts, PERFECTLY appointed. We were amazed at all the thoughtful touches and calming atmosphere. The beds and linens were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We stayed in lilac, peony, and iris blooming season - their gardens are spectacular. We met Jim and she was so friendly and lovely. We felt welcomed and guided. Rockland was charming, quiet, with great walking trails, shops, and activities. They have a good selection of Wyeths and other Maine artists at the Farnsworth Gallery. VERY friendly town and we will return to stay at Salty Cape. Thank you for a PERFECT stay.

The house was beautiful, pristine and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. Looked just like the pictures. We were not disappointed.

Let’s just say this has been my favorite Airbnb that I have ever stayed in. Spacious, pristinely, clean, every supply you could ever ask for, plenty of hot water, lots of natural light, private, views that you could not replace that change all day every day, just somewhere that you feel like you could live forever! I already have plans to visit this fall or winter.

We enjoyed staying in the Treehouse. The apartment is sweet and Mia and Bob provided some unexpected treats-cider, chocolate, coffee, cookies. They were very responsive and available. We would certainly recommend. The peaceful, beautiful setting was perfect.We would definitely return.

This was our first trip to Maine's Mid-Coast and we fell in love! This home was in the perfect location! Very close by to Owl's Head, Rockland, Camden and Port Clyde! We were all able to spread out and feel at home. We even cooked fresh Maine lobsters and steamers (end of Dec) we got from Jess's! in the kitchen. The little ones loved the fun games in the lower-level! We'll most definitely be back!

Hunters home was exactly as described. Amenities were plentiful and he was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. We brought our two dogs and he made sure to apply little touches to accommodate them as well. Home was I credibly clean, rooms were well decorated and comfortable! Surrounding areas were also easily reachable. Wonderful stay!

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

What an amazing place! Felt right at home, had a beautiful kitchen and dining room to share a meal with family. Big lobster pot, great stainless steel pans, awesome everything. The location is walkable from the ferry and it’s just an amazing island to experience some true Maine charm. I grew up in Maine and had never been to North Haven. It’s a true gem and this spot is a great place to enjoy the island offerings!

The home was immaculate and met all of our needs. The location was close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The host was great in responding quickly to any questions we had. I would stay there again. We had a great time!

The house was cozy and comfortable with all amenities we could need. The kitchen was huge and had a ton of pots and pans and every implement and accessory we could possibly want. We loved the living room, which was filled with books and music, and an invitation from RIch to listen to/read whatever we liked. We also loved the quiet surroundings. It was lovely and peaceful. I would definitely recommend the property and the owner.

Thoroughly enjoyed my two-week stay. Great location with quick and easy access to Belfast, Lincolnville, Camden and Rockport. On a private road for a very quiet, peaceful stay. Clean, comfortable and very well provisioned. I was even able to bake cookies for my daughter and son-in-law!

The Owl’s Nest is a great place to stay and explore the coast in Maine. We stayed for a whole week and had a blast each day. Acadia is about an hour and half drive away and there are a bunch of trails to do much closer by as well. JoDee and her family are gracious hosts and were extremely helpful and attentive to all we needed during our stay. I even used this place as a jumping off point to go to Baxter State Park one morning. The bnb itself is exactly as described, and served all our (two people) purposes exceptionally well. Would definitely recommend staying here to other folks and wouldn’t mind returning again.

This is a great place but warning*** If you are traveling with anyone that’s elderly or has any mobile impairment(walking), do NOT rent this place is loaded with stairs. I loved it but my mother had a hard time with the stairs and the oversize step into the bathroom. Great location. Grew up in Camden during the summer months as a child and still love returning twice a year. Looking forward to my return.

Great unit on the golf. Course with Ocean views out to the islands. Generally peaceful, save for the morning mowing of the golf course. Great place to base to see all of the mid-coast and the Samoset hotel amenities that are available to you are first class

This place is absolutely amazing. It was larger than expected. It looked smaller in the pictures. Everything in the apartment was squeaky clean and we had every single thing we needed, from pots and pans to board games. Great ocean view from the porch, the living room and from one of the bedrooms. I loved seeing the boats pass by. So peaceful! I stayed there with my elderly mom, my teenage daughter and her friend for 4 days. There was so much to do! We enjoyed both the outdoor and the indoor pool. The kids took advantage of the Health Club by playing ping pong, badminton and going to the video game room. They also spent several hours playing chess in a very nice room near the lounge area that had a gorgeous ocean view. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant in the resort and were impressed by the amazing view. Great service. We also enjoyed the long walk to the lighthouse right next to the resort, and loved going to Camden, such a charming little town, 10 minutes away. The hostess, Laurie, was very accommodating, super nice, and communicated with me frequently, making sure I had all the answers I needed. I would definitely go back there! Glad to have made such wonderful memories! We didn't want to leave!

Our multi-generational family enjoyed Marianne's place very much and we loved the location with easy access to a coffee shop and ice cream parlor on the ground floor. The views were great from the penthouse, but there was not a way to enjoy them other than standing at a window. We wished for a balcony where we could better experience the harbor, but otherwise the place was perfect. Thanks for hosting! We would happily return.

Simply perfect! Everything in the kitchen is new, in working order, extremely well-stocked. The home is clean and comfortable with amazing fine art everywhere. And the view! We couldn't get enough of the beauty, watching the Ospreys fishing, walking the little beach. Lots of hiking close-by. Rockland has great seafood market, bakery, bookstore. The Transportation Museum is excellent.

The Hobbit Hutch is what every Airbnb/VRBO/rental property should aspire to be. It felt like it was thoughtfully designed as though the owner might actually live there rather than just having a few things thrown in for the sake of a check box on the website. It was warm, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we would need, and there were board games, extra blankets, and plenty of storage space. It’s perfectly located a two-minute walk from Camden’s adorable high street, and we were out at restaurants and bars within moments. Robert was highly responsive. We were there for three nights and only wished we had been able to stay a week.
