Brett was available upon our arrival. He gave us clear and accurate instructions for use of the hot tub and bicycles if we were interested. Brett also shared several names of local restaurants, which we tried and confirm as excellent.

Amazing place to stay! Right in the middle of downtown but it doesn’t feel that way. Peaceful and unobstructed view of the water. Quiet neighborhood as well. Great option!

This was such a peaceful place to stay with amazing views. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean!

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Amazing airbnb with amazing hosts. Definitely recommended and will try and stay again if available.

Diane & Jonathon’s apartment was a great place for us to start our Alaskan trip in Anchorage. The location is perfect and has everything you need. Great views of the water and park! Would stay here again.

We stayed at Gary's place for a week during a conference I attended in Anchorage. The location is great - close enough to walk into central areas but far enough to get peace and quiet for the city. The appartement is great and comfortable, and the views to the ocean and mountains are incredible! We strongly recommend you to stay at Gary's!

The apartment was great for me and friends to celebrate a birthday. Kurt has everything you need and it’s so beautifully on the lake. Love this property😍

This house was stunning— inside and out. What a great view for Alaska! The space had a modern aesthetic—clean lines, comfortable furniture, and thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed (plus a few extras). Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and responsive. If you're looking for a place with an incredible view, clean and modern vibes, and a peaceful atmosphere, this is it. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The lake provided a lot of entertainment for us when we were just hanging out at the house. We used the 2 kayaks and canoe quite a bit to fish or just paddle around the lake. The swans were out a few times too. We also enjoyed making s’mores in the really nice fire pit (bring your own s’mores ingredients & firewood). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with lots of appliances provided. Beds were very comfy! 2 bedrooms had an amazing view of the lake (master and one queen), while the other 2 rooms had televisions. The master bathroom was very spacious and had dual shower heads. Make sure to follow the directions Daniel provides when checking in because Google Maps does not have an accurate location for the house, but we found out that Apple Maps worked great. Location was good, only 10 minutes from stores and restaurants, but felt very secluded and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Alaska!

There aren’t adequate words to say for Troy’s place! It is amazingly beautiful and relaxing. He has done an excellent job of decorating and proving necessities for a stay. The beds were very comfortable. Be easy with the heat… it feels amazing on my feet (floor heated) but it will warm up very well… cools off slowly. I just wished I had planned on staying longer. Definitely #1 on our list.

Joanna’s place was exactly as described & just what we were looking for. We’re from Anchorage & walking around Lake Hood is one of our favorite things to do - lots of Alaska bush planes taking off, landing, & parked in slips. Yet Joanna’s place was very quiet inside. Hope to stay again

Great spot! Best location you could ask for in downtown Anchorage. Next to the trail, a playground, and just up the hill to multiple good spots to eat. Very quiet and serene. Easy check in. Clean. Nice beds and pillows. Highly recommend!

My family and I loved this lake house. The home was incredibly clean and organized. The beds were super comfy and the toiletry amenities were high quality. We spent the morning on the lake in the paddle boats and saw lots of trout! Laurie was super friendly and gave great instructions for check in. Highly recommend this place.

I couldn't stay up late enough for the sunset, but the morning mist in the lake was breathtaking. I would recommend this place for the view, the comfort and the cleanliness.

We loved the place. We would definitely stay again. Everything we needed for our stay. Great communication and very cozy. Great views from the dock.
