Machtelt is a very pleasant warm host. The apartment was exactly as decorated in the photos, very taste and loving , super cozy. The location is just great for cycling. Bergen is beautiful, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities and Amsterdam is also super easy to reach by train from Alkmaar. Through the dunes to the sea is an experience and mega mega beautiful in all weather and every season. We will be back! Claudia and Stefan

Our family (3 kids 9-13) really enjoyed staying at Elisabeth’s home. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and an easy walk to the village for shopping, dining and necessities.

The cottage met the description and pictures exactly. It is small but super complete and efficiently arranged with even olive oil and laundry pods. Getting used to the stairs, but that turned quickly. The location is top, close to the beach and city center and also to a bike rental. Due to the location and bench in front of the door, you didn't really miss the garden. You are in the middle of the residential area, which is nice for the entire Katwijk experience. Bas and Lisette respond very quickly and think along. They are very approachable but give you complete privacy. So definitely worth 5 stars.

Great house with three spacious bedrooms and large bathrooms. In addition, a toilet on the ground floor. Large living room with dining table to the open, well-equipped kitchen and spacious corner couch. In good weather, there is also a couch in front of the house, where you can sit in the sun. Everything was clean and tidy. The house is about 10 minutes walk from the city center and also from the sea front. The communication with the landlords went perfectly. In any case, we would gladly come back at any time.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner, even drinks and nibbles were ready:) Karin is a great landlady, always available. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very clean and has a protected terrace. The location is beautiful, both the beach and the small town can be reached on foot in just over 20 minutes. We felt completely comfortable and would gladly come back.

It was a sheer delight to stay in Mandy's apartment. So much so I had to extend a few extra days. The apartment itself is gorgeous, sparkling clean and looks exactly like the photos. For me it really was a home away from home. The location itself was also amazing. Peaceful, quiet and very historic, yet only a few minutes walk to shops, cafes, restaurants etc. I got to meet Mandy several times during my stay and I found her to be very warm, welcoming and always helpful if I had any questions. I will most definitely be returning to Mandy's place some time in the future.

A beautiful stay in a very well maintained place. We felt completely comfortable. Everything is within walking distance and for good restaurants you don't have to walk far. The apartment is stalkingly furnished and you can feel like home.

We spent a week here. The place is small, but provided plenty of storage for our clothes, and provided all the cooking items we needed. Having the washer In the sink/shower room gave a surface for our cosmetic bags. The toilet has its own room, which also makes the spaces more functional. Having a washing machine was fantastic after spending the previous week on a boat/ bike tour! We used the drying rack, instead of the dryer, and our clothes were dry the next day. There is now a roof terrace, which is a great addition. The steep stairs have been mentioned before, so I brought some cloths up in bags to lighten the wt. of the suitcase. Once I did that, I could manage its wt. and hang onto the railing OK. There is construction on the street where the bus normally stops, but we finally found the stop at Royaards van Den Hamkade, and that made a world of difference, especially leaving with suitcases. The bus ride to Utrecht was about 10 min. Our over all experience was great.

This was our favourite ever Air bnb stay anywhere, ever! The apartment is beautiful, stylish and peaceful and had everything we wanted and more. Nick was so helpful and accommodating and responded instantly if we had questions. For us, it was a perfect location as it’s in a very quiet neighbourhood but really easy to get into the centre on the metro. We already know we want to come and stay in this apartment next time we visit Amsterdam!

The apartment matches the photos. We slept three nights, five people, comfortably, in complete tranquility. We didn't use the kitchen but everything looked very tidy, with all the appliances available. A fifteen-minute walk to the train station to downtown. A pleasant walk. A supermarket seven/eight minutes walk, very comfortable and very well-stocked.

We had a fantastic stay at this flat! It looked exactly as shown in the photos—clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from our daughter’s place, which made everything super convenient. Access from the street was straightforward, and the lift to the 3rd floor made getting in and out with luggage easy. Communication with the host was seamless and quick, which we really appreciated. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this flat, and we’ll definitely be back!

Hey, so there were three of us in the accommodation and there was enough space. The host was very friendly and responded quickly to questions and helped. The place itself has a great location, right by the sea. In addition, it was very nice and above all clean and well maintained. There was also no lack of privacy and the balcony also has a very good location, from where you can also look at the sea. For sunsets, the property is also more than perfect. All in all, we are more than satisfied with our stay and would book the place again at any time☀️

Stunning views!!! Exactly as photographed and the perfect location to explore the city, while being just tucked away enough to have a peaceful night’s sleep. The large green plant in the living room made it feel ever warmer and more comfy to relax inside. You’ll love looking out the grand windows at the city life and the river any time of day. Sunset and nighttime views were our favorite!
