Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kloof

Leslie's home was great. It was in a great location and Leslie was easy to get hold of when we had question. There were a couple of minor issues that were easily sorted out, like the location of the stove switch and the keys to one of the sliding doors. The only downside, had to do with the parking - there was something that dripped from the parking ceiling onto my windscreen and bonnet and I'm struggling to remove it.

The place was great, even better than the pictures. All the amenities listed were available and so much more. It’s a dream for young kids, because of the large pool and yard space to run around. The communication was great, all our questions were answered very quickly. The place was spotless and remained so for our entire stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Definitely recommend 10/10

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience staying here. Nikki and Tom went above and beyond as air b&b hosts and truly made my experience amazing. When I landed in Durban, they picked me up from the airport and after learning that my luggage was stuck in Joburg, they took me to the store so that I could get some toiletries and food for the day. They were so patient and warm in every interaction that I had with them. When we lost water, they brought me a 5 liter jug and were extremely communicative any time we lost water or electricity. I was in Durban for two months and struggled to find people to travel with and they literally adopted me most weekends to hang out with them at their beach club. Regarding the air bnb itself, it was the perfect size for me. It is in the safest neighborhood with great restaurants and a bakery within walking distance! There's fiber internet and a washing machine. Loved this little cottage, love Nikki and Tom, and love Durban!!

I recently stayed at a fantastic Airbnb in Kloof for a work trip, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made my stay smooth and stress-free. The place was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. It was also very comfortable, providing a peaceful environment to relax and recharge after long workdays. All the amenities in the unit were up to standard, ensuring I had everything I needed for a productive stay. I highly recommend for anyone traveling to Kloof for work or leisure.

Hi Wayne, accommodation was fantastic thank you. close to the pools and the beach access. Unit was neat and clean. We will definitely be coming back and bringing the little girls so they can play on the slides and pool.

Home from home! What a gem of a place. Situated in a prime location with all amenities nearby. What suited us was the birdlife and the tranquility of the setting. Shirley-Ann is a delightful host and, after a month-long stay, we are now firm friends and will stay connected. There is not a negative aspect to report: only a rave review of a rare find! We look forward to our return as we visit family and friends in Durban regularly. I highly recommend this cottage. Thank you Shirley-Ann.

Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. Loved this spot! The views are unbeatable and the apartment is filled with all the amenities you need. Shops and restaurant close by and a beautiful beach literally across the road!

Loved my stay here! Marian, Mauro, and Hajra (housekeeper) are extremely friendly and attentive. Not only are they great hosts but I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. The unit was actually better than the pictures. I booked this place initially because it’s one of the few Airbnb’s that offered everything… A/C, fast WiFi, backup power, a full kitchen, gas stove, separate bedroom and living space, etc. My biggest priority was safety and this unit was extremely secure being in the back of the property with lots of gates and cameras. I don’t think there is any other Airbnb in the area that matches up to it. I would absolutely stay here again!

The location was good, the house was jolly good, Essy was mega helpful, the facilities were fine, the grounds were delightful, the cottage next to the house was a pleasure, the gates worked well, and it was a decent place to stay. I thought it was useful value for the money. Before you arrive though you need to find a contact WhatsUp number because Roger was in Canada and the intercom at the gate didn't function. But that was a small thing. I'd be happy to go back again.

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

we had the most amazing holiday, I have fallen in love with Umdloti. The beach water was lovely and warm, the weather was just perfect and everywhere was so easy to get to. The apartment was just perfect, the views in the morning was to die for. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, we loved it.

Look i have not travelled a lot to Airbnb's but Tom and LIz has set the standard for me and its the small details that they think of in their place, the phone charge the small light, its truly as they say its the small thing that count. Will i book again when iam in Durban 120%, It close to the university and a walkable distance to the shops in the surrounding. see you again

From the moment I stepped into Rene's Airbnb, I knew I was in for a treat. The cosy cottage greeted me with the sweet aroma of freshly picked roses. The bed, in crisp white linen and plush blankets, a haven of comfort for a rejuvenating night's rest. The bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. I was delighted to find honey from her bee hives, adding a touch of authenticity to the experience. I was surprised by the morning delivery of freshly baked sourdough bread, crafted by Rene's husband, Dom, accompanied by deliveries of home-grown fresh veggies. Beyond the comforts of the indoors, Rene's garden was a haven of tranquillity, complete with a charming birdbath that attracted a myriad of feathered visitors. Visits from Milly and Scampy, her adorable dogs, the resident hens brought a sense of rustic charm. Rene's thoughtful hospitality and genuine care for her guests shone through in every aspect of my stay.

Anjani was a great host. Her house is superb and even better thank the photos. The patio is HUGE and there is everything you need. From a few spices to coffee and tea. An extra black bag for the bin and a bit of washing powder for us to use. Also a few dishwasher capsules. She thought of everything. A gas braai for the patio and an ironing board. We had a wonderful time as a family of 4 and will most definitely be back. Thank you!
