Taylor was a great host—very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The home was spacious, clean, and had such a warm, welcoming feel. Our family especially loved the stunning views—it really made the trip special. We'd happily stay here again!

This home was so peaceful and welcoming!. The sound from the waterfalls was just magical! The pictures did not do it justice. The kitchen was stocked with great cookware and sharp knives. Hard to find that at most bnb’s. Every one of us said multiple times that this was the best place we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being a great host, Foster!

We absolutely loved this cabin in the woods - it was magnificent! It was so private - exactly what our family of 4 needed as we vacationed from our busy lives. And the hike to Duncan Falls was incredible. What an enchanting area! We will plan to visit this property again because we were so taken with the unique architecture, private space, and beautiful scenery! A true gem in the Columbia Gorge!

Stayed at Caleb’s White Salmon Retreat in June of this year. It’s in a great and very convenient location. About a ten-minute or so drive to the Columbia River as well as the town of Hood River which has ample shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The retreat served as an excellent base for the local area, places of interest and sights beyond. Caleb’s retreat was found to be luxurious, quiet, clean and comfortable. The retreat has very quick Wi-Fi, washer and dryer and an ample kitchen. Caleb was quick to respond to all communications and was an excellent host. Will definitely return. Highly recommended to all.

We stayed at this studio apartment in White Salmon for a wedding and absolutely fell in love. The view of Mt. Hood from the bathroom was amazing, and waking up and using the sauna everyday was an absolute treasure. The drive over the bridge to Hood River is well worth the $7 round trip as there is a spectacular view of Mt. Hood as you go across. There is a small kitchen and a an ironing table! (Which was perfect for our wedding) The only downside of this property is how close it is to a busy road. We made the mistake of leaving our windows open the first night and were woken up bright and early at 5 am to the loud business of the road.

Absolutely comfortable and spacious for our 5 adults. Great kitchen/dining for cooking and games. Living space and outdoor space has enough seating for everyone. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked. Had my parents with us for this trip and we’ve already discussed coming back and staying here longer next time.

The spacious, open floor plan was perfect for us to spend time with our adult children and grandsons. The views are spectacular from the deck and we enjoyed spending time out there. It was a great location for hikes in the Gorge and visiting the Columbia River Discovery Center.theColumbia River

We had a lovely stay at Adrienne’s place in Happy Valley, Oregon! Adrienne and his wife are such a sweet and welcoming couple—it truly felt great meeting them. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with stunning balcony views and a refreshing breeze that made our time there extra special. The space was well-equipped with snacks and all the utensils we needed for dining, which was a thoughtful touch. When we requested it, they kindly helped us by setting up a portable air conditioning unit, which made our stay even more comfortable. They also baked and shared delicious muffins with us, which was so thoughtful and sweet—it really made us feel at home. Overall, a wonderful location, a cozy and well-maintained home, and such kind hosts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Happy Valley area!

We were visiting family in Portland and had a great stay at this Airbnb. Great location and safe neighborhood, really clean space, great outdoor area for working or having meals outside when it’s nice, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen - and bonus points for the hot tub which we really enjoyed in the evenings. Overall 10/10 stay and would love to stay here again!

Our stay was the beginning of a three week road trip. It was a wonderful way to start. The Apt was perfect for our needs. Very nicely appointed, very comfortable and quiet. Nice property right by the River. Comfortable stay and a good value. Beds were comfortable. The hosts set up a fire in the fire pit for us which was a nice bonus. They were also flexible on check out time.

This place was very peaceful and low key. Truly well thought out and accommodating!

We absolutely loved this place, so cozy and non-pretentious. Beautiful antique glass collection and lights on at night in the garden were a bonus for us. We would definitely stay here again.

What a serene place in a beautiful spot! We felt home right away, and if there weren't as many things to do in the area, we might have hung out more at the place, just because ... It's a gorgeous private little Island of Heaven, overlooking the river in the middle of nature. Whether you hang out inside or on the patio, you're at home. Whomever looks to escape the daily hamster wheel, that's the place to be. Hope to be back some time ...

Love the Welches! Been coming for years and happy to have met the new owners of Rendezvous while hanging out in Zig Zag. Great area- close to Mama Hood, many trail heads, and restaurants. Whistle Stop never disappoints. Pool was nice too!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. I stayed there for a weekend with my husband and son as we went up skiing. It was a great location. The apartment is so lovely and designed very well. The bedding in bed were very comfortable. Everything you need is there and well thought out. We would definitely stay there again.

This apartment is a quick walk from downtown and has everything you could need. The host is responsive and friendly. We will stay here again when we come back to Hood River. The only problem we ran into was the bedroom is pretty bright. The AC unit has a super bright display that stays on all the time. The window coverings also let a lot of light through and the parking lot is brightly lit at night. We had to put up blankets on the windows and make a cover for the AC unit otherwise we wouldn’t have slept much. It really is a nice place to stay but you should be warned about that.

We loved our stay at Maria’s place. Beautiful space!!! All needed amenities and the location is gorgeous. Loved the beautiful views from the patio. We enjoyed the fireplace. The resort is gorgeous and feels private although you’re close to everything. We took the bus up to Mt Hood to Timberline Resort. This is which a must do for amazing views. You can catch it a few minutes from the resort and only costs $4 per person round trip. Star views were beautiful! Also check out Trillium lake for a beautiful view and reflections of Mt Hood. Can’t beat the location. Close to restaurants and the gift shops at by the thrifty store at the main road had so much cute stuff. We absolutely loved our stay and the area. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful spot.

What a sweet, comfortable little place! We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is centrally located steps from town, and it was great walking to the coffee shop, the market, and the amazing taco truck, La Vaquita. The Mosier Plateau trail is right across the street, and the Memaloose and Rowena Crest trails are a short drive away. Things to note: there’s a lot of traffic whizzing by on the highway out front, so this isn’t a fully immersive nature experience. Once you get used to the cars, the views are amazing. The water heater is also located in the bedroom and can be a little noisy in the morning when it starts up. I’m a light sleeper and I slept just fine regardless. We’d definitely stay here again. Nothing like having the comforts of a beautiful home just steps away from nature.

The house is great! Very clean, comfort and good location. The instruction of self check in is very clear. Surrounding environment is also pretty good. We really enjoyed our stay!

Rachel was very accommodating. The place was spotless & everything about it was lovely, comfortable beds (a must), clean refrigerator, ice & a Brita. Small backyard shady space. We'd definitely consider staying again. The downside; the Roku system was the one detail we did not like as it was hard to navigate and frustrating when we would come back from dinner and a long day of work just wanting to chill to a good movie. It took some doing to figure it out and the limited choices available was frustrating. Even though we had Amazon Prime membership it still was limiting using a Roku, especially for live TV. We may just not be techy enough so if you are, it would probably be a breeze for you. Next time we will ask a few more questions regarding the system. None the less we would highly recommend!
