Beachfront holiday rental in Kiwengwa

After 2 weeks of volunteering, this accommodation was great to come down and relax. The location was really great and Barbara was always on hand to help with recommendations, a bajaji etc. needed. It was a great end to our time in Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

Stayed 9 nights with my husband (June 2025). Great communication. Got collected at the airport by Suileman (sorry if spelling is wrong!)..we had a hire car so husband followed us behind..would be very hard to find otherwise. We were greeted by Said and Josephine with fresh coconuts... the house is just like the photos. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful gardens and clean pool with incredible views. Incredibly clean..bedrooms were gorgeous as was the bathrooms. Everything you may need was included. Staff were so helpful. Said took my husband out to show us where to buy bread. There are 2 local supermarkets...very expensive and mostly sold UK products! Air-conditioning upstairs but not down..I was incredibly hot. There are fans but still humid and hot. All in all..a fantastic holiday. The beach by villa isn't the best..very rocky..but beautiful views from patio area. Watch out for bugs and lizards.. but that's Africa! A truly memorable holiday. We will return one day. Easy 5 stars.

2 weeks in this house was really peaceful and nice. The general manager Mudy and also Anna were very proactive. The house is situated in a very quiet environment and we could walk 15 minutes to Kendwa beach. Otherwise we took moto taxis. I really recommand this place

Micaela’s house is beautiful facing a stunning beach. Chinga welcomed us and let us in earlier than expected, which was a huge relief. He was incredibly responsive and helpful - always popped round when we needed him. Asante Chinga! Halima cooked us a lovely breakfast. We also had a great massage. We enjoyed the Yoga Bar, Imani Beach Hotel breakfast and a couple of good dinners at Zan View. The house is stylish, the sand garden delightful and through the tiny gate you are already on the beautiful beach. Definitely recommend!

We just had an incredible stay at this beachfront villa in Zanzibar. It an incredibly beautiful location, and the house is spacious and clean. The real star of the property, beside the gorgeous beach is the staff. From the management agency, to the house manager Sule, to Tatu our housekeeper and Fabio the most friendly and warm Maasai guard- everyone made my daughter and I feel right at home. We hired a fantastic chef, Robinson through the agency and he made the best food at our request every day and the cost was reasonable. This is a must book for a peaceful vacation in Zanzibar away from the commercial hotel scene. Thank you Paolo for hosting us!

Fumba Town is a very nice place to stay: close to the beach and not far from Stone Town and the airport. The apartment is very neat and with tasteful furniture and good facilities like a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. An umbrella came in handy too :-) because it was the rainy season. Kwetu kwenu beach club is nearby and chill with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended, the apartment and the town.

nice place, very cozy. but lots of electricity issues however the hosts were very helpful with generators. lots of annoying salesman waiting outside the property following us around all day which wasnt fun

Our 2 families (10 persons) had a great time and stay in this house over Christmas. This house doesn't have any AC but the fans do a pretty good job. Nice deep pool which was of great use as the tide and seaweed has big influence on the beach just outside . Along the shore there are couple of cozy restaurants. Be caution and aware of palm trees with coconuts that can fall down from the neighbor plots. Housekeeper Hidaya was great and so friendly, she helped with cleaning and cooking.

We had a wonderful stay! The residence is quiet and very well maintained! Carol was very helpful even if she wasn't there to welcome us, the staff are really very nice and always available to help us discover the place 😊

We had a great stay in Amani Villa with our two boys. We slept in a huge nicely designed bedroom with a high makuti roof in the middle of the fisherman village of Jambiani. The gorgeous turquoise ocean is just a few minutes walk away and the plunge pool is great for cooling off. There are local shops and restaurants very near by and the main road is not far away for longer trips. Sacha was always available, polite and responsive. Highly recommended!

Ernst is a very good gatsgeber . He responds immediately and always helps. Everything is very well organized. He has arranged the help on site very well. There is always a contact person there. Maybe think about an emergency power unit......The house is located directly on the beach , just a few steps to the sea. Absolutely quiet location. Thank you very much for the nice time there.

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

Mohammed and staff were very accommodating during our stay. If you are looking for a location that’s centrally located because you want to explore the island then this is great. It’s also easy access to stone town without being directly in stone town. Villa was as advertised and the daily Swahili breakfast was an unexpected nice surprise. I’d go back.

Absolutely amazing way to start our vacation throughout Eastern and Southern Africa. The Villa was huge and had so many hidden gems, like the pool and garden area. I felt very safe as a female traveler with the 24/7 security guard, the security systems, and the frequent communication with Raphael. The place immediately felt like home and the rooms were nice and cool. The best part though was the location— it was in the heart of Stone Town which made every activity we did so much easier. Thank you for a great stay! I want to return soon to Zanzibar just for this Villa!
