You can relax in a renovated space in a traditional wooden house. A wood stove is available in winter and air conditioning in summer. At night you can see lots of stars and shooting stars. There is a floor space unique to the Japanese-style room, and there is also a space called "ma" designed in the living space, where you can decorate and enjoy seasonal flowers and trees. We can bring you a hot breakfast every morning if you want. You can use the kitchen to cook meals. Cooking utensils and basic seasonings (oil, salt, pepper) are provided. It is located in a highland area at an altitude of about 940m, so it is cool in the morning and evening even in summer, but it is hot during the day, so air conditioning is installed. Using this place as a base, you can go to Torii Pass, stroll around the post town, and do sightseeing in the surrounding area. If you come by car, you can also take a YABUHARA taxi to Kamikochi or the bus terminal in Norikura Kogen in about an hour. The neighbouring town of "Yabuhara" is famous for "Orokkushi". The Yukawa Shuzo brewery's sake, "Kisoji", is also famous. The summer festival in Narai on the 11th and 12th of August is a sight to behold. You can wash your clothes and hang them outside to dry, so it's comfortable for a long stay. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores, and there are no restaurants open at night, so you need to prepare food and ingredients and cook for yourself!
