Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. This is a guest house on our little farm in the country. Our house is right next door but we will give you all the privacy you want. Your stay will include homemade baked goods made by our family, Cold breakfast foods such as cereal and fruit will be available. There is a beautiful pine grove with a picnic area and a fire pit for your use. There is also a massage chair by the electric fireplace where you can relax those aching muscles.

It is located 10 minutes from the Forrest Lake marina, 5 minutes from Big Creek Conservation public land and 10 minutes from Sugar Creek Conservation public land. This rustic cabin is perfect for a group of hunters or a weekend getaway in the woods.

All full size kitchen appliances, Later it was used for a rental , so the washer , dryer and shower were added, which explains why they aren’t in the usual placement As this is beside HWY 36 , it’s an easy off and on. Close to town ( 1 1/2 miles to Walmart) .
