Accommodation: Our historic house from the 15th century is located in a quiet location in the old town of Krems / Donau-Stein. The approx. 30m2 apartment is located directly in Stein's old town - an ideal location for a visit to the various museums close by or a day trip with one of the many ships up the Danube valley - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, the vibrant city centre of Krems with its coffee shops, confectionaries and bars and the Campus Krems are within walking distance.

Flat in an old farmhouse

We turned an old stable into an apartment. We tried to preserve the atmosphere of the place. The flat is located in the courtyard of a renovated old farm where we are living ourselves (parents and 2 children). The area is called the Wagram, 3 km away from the Danube and around 50 km away from the center of Vienna. Animals are also part of the family; one cat and a chicken with whom you are welcome to interact. However, they are not allowed in the flat :-)

Bicycles for the Heurigen ride, boats for river and lake and are available from us free of charge. And Josephsbrot, the really good bakery with a cafe is in the village! Susanne is a youth coach. Unfortunately, we were only there for 1 night on our Danube bike tour. The apartment is super nice, large, modern and very clean. You could easily stay here for a long time. It even has a bike storage. You can't hear anything from the train station, the house is generally very quiet. There is a Billa in the immediate vicinity and a bakery is within walking distance of the train station. It's a maximum of 5 minutes by bike to the centre. Communication with Jonny was also great, he is very nice and friendly and always responded immediately. We felt comfortable all around and can recommend the apartment 100% :-)

The romantic cottage with a large garden can accommodate at least 4 people. We were there with our 2 children, the children slept upstairs and my wife and I downstairs. A special highlight is of course the old wine cellar.
