Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kinmel Bay and Towyn

From the moment we arrived Richard made us feel right at home. He was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house was exactly as described & the furniture was so comfortable. The Wi-Fi was excellent and there were lots of little touches not mentioned in the write up about the accommodation. The Hot tub was amazing, the views were beautiful & the patio area was perfect. The area is so peaceful and quiet. We highly recommend here for a relaxing & comfortable stay.

We had such a lovely stay. Paula and Simon are perfect hosts. A lovely place to stay, full of character. They are very friendly, I can’t recommend my first ever Airbnb stay enough. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you both.

Dog friendly cottage, close to the river and other walks. Small cottage, was a bit of a squeeze with our bigger dog. All was clean. Contact with Annette was great, clear instructions and always replied. Recommend

Beautiful, tastefully decorated house, exactly as pictured. Very clean, with all amenities and a lovely little private terrace. Direct sea view and very quiet location. Well located for excursions in the surrounding area. Very friendly and pleasant communication with the host. The perfect place for a few relaxing days. We would love to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at The Cherries. It felt very homely, comfortable and welcoming. The bungalow was light and pleasant with a small enclosed garden that our dog fully enjoyed. There is a raised decking area with furniture and 2 sunbeds lower in the garden. With it being a dormer bungalow, everything was on one level and easily accessible which was ideal as holidaying with elderly parents. The upper bedroom and en-suite was beautiful and offered privacy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. We had all of the facilities that we needed and the location was perfect for exploring up and down the coast. Information leaflets were very useful and the shower was great! The welcome pack was very good and we could have a cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. The use of upcycled furniture also made the cottage unique and very welcoming. The village had a very good charity shop / café and also had a good Chinese takeaway and some decent pubs. The cottage is also close to Talacre beach, Prestatyn and Flint / Holywell so there is always somewhere to visit. Thank you Chris for a lovely holiday rental! Dave, Chris, Elsie and Ruby

From start to finish our stay was perfect. Relaxing setting for the adults and plenty to do around the area for the children. Our children loved the cows daily visit. The house was spotless with everything you could need. Check in and check out were stress free. Gwen and her husband are friendly and left us to it. Highly recommend for your visit to Wales! We stayed at Popty Pennant (the Bakehouse) in June. Nick informed us that parts of the settlement can be dated back to the Elizabethan era, and you can certainly see the history of the beautiful area over time. The tiny house is compact with most things you need for a short stay and comes highly recommended for an authentic North Wales experience.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely flat in Llandudno! Carolyne, our host, was absolutely fantastic—so thoughtful and attentive. She checked in with us throughout our visit to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond by providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Her care and hospitality really added a special touch to our trip. The flat itself was cozy, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for our 5-night stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, and the space was both comfortable and welcoming—perfect to come home to after exploring. It’s also in a fantastic location: easy to park with a car, close to shops and restaurants, and a great home base for day trips throughout North Wales. This was our fifth time visiting Wales, and it was one of the most memorable yet. The combination of a charming place to stay and Caroline’s warm hospitality made all the difference. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Had a wonderful weekend. Great house, Superb Kitchen, plenty of space and lovley Deco. We had a slight problem with bed which was dealt with by host (no fault of her own). communication was super efficient and helpful. It did not detract from our stay as everything else was perfect. Very Close to Conwy and Llandudno. Conwy Harbour was Beautiful and Nikki provides a useful Folder full of examples of places to eat, drink and visit. Hot tub and outside area provides a great place to unwind. The Castle View pub is also close by and offers a great view of Conwy Harbour. Thank You Nikki and Family ...your home is a credit to you x

Lovely stay for the 5 of us for a girls trip celebrating a 25th birthday. Amazing views and local town just a drive away. Place was clean and cosy and we loved the hot tub. Definitely recommend!

Lovely accommodation in a nice quiet location with a pleasant 20 minute walk to the town facilities. The property was bright, clean and comfortable with plenty of on street parking. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely weekend stay felt very at home! Excellent communication running up to the stay and on the day. Tony showed us around on arrival explaining everything and told us to ask if there was anything we needed. Nice selection of teas and coffees, fresh milk was offered. This property is a lovely find and so handy for everything, tips and information available in the property. Everything was clean, slept well and a great shower. Great TV’s! Easy on street parking that’s free. Unlike some other seaside resorts Llandudno remains a good place to visit with a variety of shops and eateries without looking rundown. A trip up to the Great Orme is a must! Will visit again! Thank you both!

First class accommodation in a lovely tranquil village with the local pub offering a warm and friendly welcome with excellent food. I would highly recommend this lovely apartment, its a great base for exploring this beautiful part of Wales. Really impressed with apartment in every way. The only suggestion I would make is to point out the extra rail station known as Sandhills, literally a few minutes walk and allows a few minute journey into the centre of Liverpool. Also shops close by and also a bus route. It would be helpful to point out this in the description. Lovely apartment, felt safe as it is gated with a security guard and is located in a pleasant area too. Thank you.

What a STUNNING place. I needed a quiet solo retreat following my 50th birthday and it was perfect. Waking up and going to sleep (sometimes several times a day!) looking at the sea was glorious. Had several baths looking up at the hills and the sky. Even baked some cookies! I left feeling restored. Couple of things I didn’t know, but that don’t reflect on Melinda as a host: - parking is on the road, not on the drive, but I got space directly outside - I could even keep an eye on my car from the bedroom! - there is a bit of a smell (from a neighbour who smokes?) that comes up into the lounge that kept me out of it sometimes - the road is quite busy with cars during the day, so you will mainly hear the sea in the morning and the evening. Rhos is minutes away - I had a couple of fab meals at Fortes. Buses are very easy - I went to Llandudno for the Thurs male voice choir concert at St Johns. Colwyn is an easy walk up the beach. Gorgeous! I’d love to come back.

Lovely clean and bright place to stay. Julie made it clear to us not to hesitate to reach out if we needed help or advice with anything. But to be honest she has everything in order to the detail. Everything was hassle free from check in right through to check out and left alone to come and go as we pleased. We would certainly stay again. Chris and Julie were very welcoming, helpful, kind and responsive during our time at their beautiful property. The property is an amazing place, very private and set back off the road right by a fresh water creek, nestled in the hills and surrounded by nature. There is a conscious eco-lodge feel to the place and much has been done to give the place a natural and peaceful feel, including natural bedding and products in a space that has everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is great too, with the town of Betws-y-Coed only about 15 minutes away and various Snowdon summit tracks not too far beyond that. A big thank you to Chris & Julie - I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property.

Alyson is a friendly and helpful host. We really enjoyed our stay in her lovely apartment. It is so convenient for shops, restraunts, train station and seafront, all are in easy walking distance. Gated parking for added security.

Such a lovely apartment, perfect for what we needed. The host is a great balance of giving you privacy but quick to respond to messages if you have any questions. It's exactly as stated, easy to access, great rooms (I want to move in to the bathroom for the shower alone!), had everything we could have thought of, and is in a brilliant location. The local woodland area was 30 seconds down the road and perfect for taking the dog

We had a lovely stay in Elan’s apartment! It’s so clean and has everything you could need. The outdoor space is really nice and the apartment itself was easy to access/ instructions were clear. Located in a quiet and peaceful area. Elan was very kind and accommodating, leaving us welcome gifts and being very responsive. Thanks for a great trip!

Great little flat in a very convenient location, only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. It is comfortable and has everything you need, even coffee, tea, and milk in the fridge (which was an unusual and generous touch—usually the first thing I do in an Airbnb is run out to buy milk for the morning coffee!). If anything is missing, Julia will quickly respond. It was extremely quiet and clean and I enjoyed my stay.

Margie & Rog were such lovely, friendly hosts, which helped to make our stay so perfect. The Rockcliffe Suite was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was very good, with shops, seafront, pubs, restaurants, train station all within walking distance. Also having your own car packing space on the drive was an added bonus. Thank so much Margie & Rog for your hospitality. This property is certainly worth 5 stars, and we will be definitely returning in the near future.
