Holiday rentals with lake access in Kingston

We had a couple snafus on arrival (all of which were on my end) but I’ve never talked to a more responsive and helpful host. Any issue I had I was able to ask and she helped me figure it out (mostly because I had a hard time learning foreign appliances). This home reminded me a lot of my grandmothers house and I had many fond memories there. It truly felt like a home and not a borrowed location. Would definitely recommend this place to someone else. Thank you for letting us stay!

This crib is all about the view which is clearly spectacular. No other reviews have referenced the property’s layout which I will do here - not as a criticism, but as an observation so that folks can take same into consideration. The property has 2 bedrooms - however they are effectively joined (wth a small ante room in between) meaning that the second bedroom can only be accessed via the first bedroom. This arrangement is certainly noted in the property description; however it’s not apparent from the photos. Folks may need to take this arrangement into account, depending on who they’re sharing with, noting that the occupant of the second bedroom needs to pass through the first bedroom to access the bathroom. Absolutely stunning!!! From stepping into this beautiful space we were welcomed to peaceful music and a warm space to invite us in. We were in awe of the view and spent most of the afternoon sitting with a cuppa and looking out. The beds were very comfortable and warm and the shower was also excellent. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone.

Jimmy was a very thoughtful and responsive host . The house was very comfortable with stunning views. The setting opposite the lake is beautiful, and a great base for exploring other areas of interest around Queenstown. We’d highly recommend Jimmy’s place.

A beautiful and spacious apartment just out of Queenstown. 10 years since we have last been to Queenstown and wow it has got bigger! So really nice to removed from that, in the quiet surrounds, with only a short drive to town.

Our family had a wonderful time visiting Te Anau and Milford Sound. The house was a great place from which to base our day trips. The closeness to Lake Te Anau was a plus. We had beautiful vistas all day long. The walking path next to the lake was so inviting and fun for the kids. The house was comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 7. Don’t hesitate to book this Airbnb for your trip to Te Anau and Milford Sound.

The absolutely breathtaking views, just a few minutes' walk to Queenstown center. Deborah provided lots of helpful information. The room was well-equipped and incredibly cozy — I’d choose it again next time. Highly recommended!

Georgia was so kind and welcoming! Her place had everything I needed including laundry! She had great recommendations for local food Chur and Lokale! Location was fantastic and of course the view from her place was great!

The place has a balcony that faces Lake Wakatipu. Great views. I managed to capture few pictures of southern light from the balcony. The place is near to alot places. My family loved the place. i really recommend this place.

Perfect crash pad right on the lake with everything that was needed for a weeks stay.

My partner and I spent a few days here for our first trip to Queenstown and it was absolutely perfect, we loved our stay! The apartment itself is tidy and cosy and the view of the lake is beautiful and even better than the photos 😍 Kirsty was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed as well as providing some great local recommendations including a scenic walk into town, which we loved doing every day. We would stay here again and 100% recommend!

Beautiful!! The view here is unmatched, and it is so peaceful on the balconies watching the sunset.

We really appreciated having a clean, convenient space for our 2 night get away to the city. We are from the states staying in Twizel but wanted to come to the city for a few nights. The place was perfect with all the amenities. Great for kids. Loved the balcony views! Can’t beat it!

I loved this cottage. I felt right at home. I liked the extra touches of fruit and cereal along with a great shower. I enjoyed being close to the lake for an evening walk. I would definitely stay again.

You couldn’t ask for a nicer little place, it was sparkling, clean very comfortable and perfect location for my needs. I would recommend Judith’s place every time. Communication was easy and very quick check in no problem at all. Check out same way cheers, Richard.

Beautiful little cottage with quality furniture and furnishings. A beautiful view for a few days retreat

Beautiful home, so lovely to have the fire set. Ready to be lit on arrival . Ideal location for my daughter’s wedding. The host was fantastic, easy to deal with. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend the Vulcan hotel for meals and drinks.

Location was the stand out! 10-15 mins walk for central Queenstown. Cosy, plenty of parking and all amenities were great. Would stay here again when we’re back in Queenstown!

Homely and comfortable stay with great amenities!

Very roomy and comfortable accommodation. Large bathroom with a fabulous tub. We used the washer and dryer…very handy. Heated floors kept the place warm and cosy. Kitchen is well equipped. Would stay there again. Thanks Peter and Yanli.
