“This was our 3rd stay, but our first in the warmer months and boy were we glad we chose this time of year to visit. We ate at the picnic table in the backyard both evenings and watched the sunset over the hills the first night. We took the time to take in some of the outdoor activities in the area by hiking Cape Split, visiting and exploring Baxter’s Harbour Falls (twice - once being at sunset) and two of the local wineries (one of which is right on the water and has a beautiful view of the mud flats). The space was perfect for our needs and there were even some new vinyls added to the collection since our last visit. We are already looking for dates we can book again before fall.”
Social Distance or quarantine safely here! Get a little pet therapy from our canine, cats, or horses. Take a walk on the dykes or up to the Vineyards on the hill and catch an amazing sunset! Roast hot dogs or marshmallows over the fire pit. We clean thoroughly with antimicrobials after each guest. Check in and out is easy without any need to even interact with us in person!
“We had a lovely stay at the Coach House! Everything that we could have needed/wanted was provided! Cynthia was a pleasure to communicate with. The soak in the hottub was such an apprenticed treat after the long hike to Cape Split! Very close to town, where we enjoyed a lovely supper at the Church Brewery, and delicious breakfast at the Naked Crepe. We would totally stay here again! Thank you!”
Quiet, private, and tranquil is this year-round cottage located on the Minas Basin in Kingsport. The cottage has a large verandah that fronts the ‘bluff’ and below is a lovely walkable beach exposed when the tide is out.
“If you are reading this to decide whether or not to book this place, stop. Book it and you will not be disappointed. The view while you drink your coffee or beer is reason enough, never mind the countless features and touches. This place is an absolutely fantastic, nature-filled, cozy cottage. You have more than you need and total privacy. Bonnie is an angel and I've already started planning my next visit!”
