Really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is small but very comfortable and well-appointed. The property is fenced in so your dog can run around without going into the pasture. My husband enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck, and I loved the massage chair! Great location, close to everything. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved the home it was amazing and beautiful and felt right at home and we love that feeling. We would stay here again for sure, it was just the right place to see old friends again and spend time with each other. Quiet place with a small walk to the fire place. Sarah’s communication with us was great we didn’t have questions about anything and she gave us a run down of the home and it was all very clear to us.

This chalet is peaceful and relaxing. My wife and kids stopped in for the weekend and we left almost too relaxed! Our children loved the cute fox den upstairs that they did not want to leave. Mom and dad spent many hours on the back porch and lower deck. Great stay and definitely a gem. We will be back!

Three families with a couple of children stayed for a week in this peaceful cabin. It had everything we needed, which is good since it is a significant trip to go up and down the mountain. There's a nearby trail between a waterfall and lake. My friends enjoyed the massage chair and the views from the deck alone were amazing.

Wonderful view, clean and super relaxing. Loved the separated king rooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. Great for two couples. If you had kids with you the downstairs had two more bedrooms that would’ve been great for kids. Hot tub was great. Only downside to the place is the distance from things if you want to go out at all. We decided to be relaxed and stay in a bunch so it was great. We had rainy weather but did the short waterfall hike in the subdivision one day. It was easy and enjoyable. Took less than an hour. Katrina was very responsive. Overall a great Airbnb!

Kathrine was amazing! There was a slight hiccup when checking in, which was not her fault, and she responded quickly and handled the issue immediately. The surroundings were peaceful and we loved staying there.

We stayed at Bill’s cabin for 3 nights and had a great time. The cabin was well equipped with anything you may need. He even had extra items such as flashlights, umbrellas, camping chairs etc available for guests to use. The movie room was super cool and very well thought out, it even had a popcorn machine! The cabin was only a short drive from lots of hiking trails and the Linville gorge. Bill even shared some local places for us to visit and we really enjoyed them. Definitely recommend staying here!

The home is in the clouds , great views and very private, 4 wheel drive helps out , there’s a lot of entertainment and a great Hot Tub

I can’t say enough positive things about the cabin and the host, Shannon. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome note and freshly picked hydrangeas! The cabin is adorable and private! Shannon was phenomenal with communication and helpful tips for the stay! 12/10 recommend and we will for sure be back!

What a great place. Cabin was easy to find on a very quiet road. It was a very peaceful and relaxing location. The creek is beautiful. Jacob was quick to respond to any questions and he was very helpful and informative. I’m looking for to staying here again.

When we booked the place with Kathryn, we weren’t expecting to go the full route of glamping, but that did not deter us from having such a good time at the property. Even though it was for one night, we cannot wait to come back in the future and do it all over again for an extended timeframe. It felt just like camping as a kid again. Instructions were very clear on how to navigate to the site to using the facilities. Highly recommended.

Ashleigh was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The house is very clean and a lot of thought as been put into helpful amenities. The hiking trails were a great way to enjoy the peaceful scenery and let the kids explore. We will definitely stay again!

There isn’t enough space to say everything that is marvelous about this gem on the lake. They carved this space out of gorgeous woods so carefully, you’re surrounded by lush forests and birdsong. The water is cool and clear , and the shore is so much more firm than other NC lakes. Makes it easy to ease into the water before the dropoff to accommodate a boat. And since it’s a natural lake, you don’t have to worry about fluctuating lake levels and consistent depth for hopping off the dock. Their offering of kayaks was a selling point, and we had such a great time going up and down the waterway. Boat traffic wasn’t bad, even on a beautiful Saturday. The deck is so deep and wide, it was a close second for my favorite spot. On a clear day, be sure to enjoy sunset on the dock! Pack light and enjoy the bliss that is a purposeful, uncluttered space. They provide everything you need for a perfect stay!!!

My wife and I had a great stay. The place is set on a hillside, with spectacular views from both back decks. The home was cozy with tons of options for relaxation. It is very secluded and relaxing. I took my dogs for a 3 mile walk in the neighborhood with lots of uphill to build cardio for all. We didn't see one car on the road the whole time and were able to explore a bit in the unpopulated areas of the neighborhood. The amenities are just as advertised, we had everything we needed. The property is gorgeous but it is steep and a bit tricky to navigate for pets trying to find a place to run around or to go potty. We adapted fine but wanted to add this note in case someone has accessibility needs.

This was place was just something else! The surroundings were astounding, and the home was very spacious. Not only that but you even get to be with a cat in there, the most gentle and calm cat I have ever met. I would absolutely recommend this house and would love to come back.

Wow! Maryia's cabin was so peaceful, clean, and beautiful for an anniversary vacation. My wife and I celebrated with wonderful views of Shortoff Mountain from the deck and living room, which were all the more enjoyable because we knew we'd later hike that mountain! This home was perfect to unwind after all of the awesome nature to explore in the area (Linville Gorge is a particular favorite of mine). The kitchen was very well stocked, the bed was comfy, and the views were top notch. It's hard to imagine a better place for a romantic getaway in the area!

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Everything was phenomenal. Sleeping with the water rushing right outside was so relaxing. Knowing we were surrounded by nature was refreshing. All you need is some groceries, a good book and great company to have a blast here.

Great house, great communication with Nick & Emily! The community is gated which was a plus. The house is way up the mountain so prepare for winding roads - but worth the drive!
