The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

Our Tiny House is just that. A bespoke made tiny home for two that has been custom built to fit the space with seating and small amount of storage. A tiny bathroom includes a modern composting toilet and small shower with hot water. Basic cooking facilities are provided from a mini oven or why not use the fire pit and bbq outside instead. The sleeping area is accessed via a ladder and is in the apex of the roof and has a double mattress and soft bedding with a window to enjoy the sunrise.

The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.
