Clinton's Secret, Close to Beaches, Pet Friendly

Imagine the clinking of glasses, laughter and friendship during prohibition. This was Pierre Houpert's private distillerie burned down before the feds stepped in. For 100 years it waited for new life whilst almost crumbling to the ground. Now new life breaths from every stone. Enjoy the views from any of the 3 porches. Take a walk on the trails across the street. Walk down to the reservoir at sunset or just listen to the history tell you the stories. Close to beaches, nearby Historic towns.

Updated cottage "Beriozka" on Cedar Lake

Originally from Russia (hence the name “Beriozka” meaning Birch Tree) I live in Stamford CT. About 7-8 years ago I’ve discovered Chester/ Essex area and fell in love. I’ve been coming here during summer to enjoy river rides, during winter just to see snow on the ground of old towns and needless to say during fall – when all the beauty of nature unfolds. Then came an idea to have an own place here and when an opportunity came to buy this small cottage on Cedar Lake I’ve jumped on it.
